Chapter Ten

Eleven weeks later

Piper walked though house towards the door, Jax was outside waiting to bring her to the doctor's, she had went for an anatomy scan two weeks ago and neither twin wanted to reveal thier gender, so fingers crossed today was the day

"You don't look so good" Jax said as she got into the truck and buckled up

"I'm uncomfortable" Piper said

Just hitting her halfway mark Piper began expeariancing alot of round ligament pain, she knew she was going to have all sorts of pain, she was carrying two babies instead of one

"Hey guys" Dr Jenson said walking into the room

"I feel like today is the day" he smiled

"God I hope so" Piper said as he sat down and got the machine ready

"Okay, well it looks like twin A is ready to let everyone know and seems to be doing fine" Dr Jenson said

"That's great news doc" Jax said

"Twin b, well that one seems to be a little on the smaller side but other then that is also okay and ready are you guys ready?" Dr Jenson smiled

Piper and Jax both nodded their heads

"Okay guys twin one is a boy" Dr Jenson smiled

"And twin two, looks to be another boy!" He laughed

"Good no girls" Jax said

"Aww Jax don't be so down about girls" Dr Jenson said

"I don't need another one of her running around" Jax laughed

"I wouldn't either" Dr Jenson laughed

"Hey guys I'm still here" Piper chuckled as she sat up

"Piper I want you to take it easy the next few months can you do that?" Dr Jenson asked

"Yeah, I don't work so it should be pretty easy" Piper said

"Good, you want to keep them in as long as possible. Your probably not going to make it past thirty two weeks and that is normal" Dr Jenson said

"Okay thanks so much Dr.J" Jax said shaking the doctors hand before they walked out of the office

"Babe we gotta stop and tell my mom so she can go nuts" Jax laughed

"I know I already planned on it" Piper smiled

"God I love you" Jax said as he held the door open for her to get into the truck

"Oh god guys you made me cry" Gemma said wiping away her tears

"I take it your pleased with two boys" Piper said taking a muffin off of the counter

"You have no idea, I wish one was a girl though" Gemma said

"I don't" Jax quickly added

"Aww Jax why not? That way you can have a daddy's girl" Gemma said

"I'd love that but I couldn't handle another Piper. I think I'd be grey in just a few years" Jax laughed as Piper threw her muffin at him

"And it's okay for me to have two of you?" Piper asked resting her hands on her hips

"Well yeah I'm not that bad" Jax laughed

Gemma and Piper ended up in a full blown laugh fest as Jax stood there not understanding why they were laughing

Piper rustled Jax awake

"Babe wake up" Piper said pushing him lightly

"What is it are you okay?" Jax asked sitting up quickly

"I'm okay, I just um really want some pickles" Piper said

"They are in the fridge babe" Jax said laying back down

"I ate those before I came to bed" Piper said biting her lip

"Piper it's two in the morning" Jax said sitting back up

"But babe please" Piper asked

"I don't even know where I can find pickles at this hour" Jax said getting out of bed and pulling his sweatpants on

"The gas station has them in single packages they are like three for a buck" Piper said

Piper watched Jax pull his Samcro hoodie over his head and slip his sneakers on, walking down the hall Jax grabbed his truck keys from the hook and his wallet from the tray. He was exhausted, he worked the rest of the day after the appointment until after ten and after showering and eating it was nearly midnight

Placing every single package of pickles on the counter the woman smiled at him

"You can get more at the grocery store doll" she smiled

Jax smiled back at her

"Oh trust me darlin' I am well aware of that but my pregnant wife needs these right now" Jax said as she rang up his pickles

"What a lucky woman to have her husband out buying pickles in the middle of the night" she said as she took Jax's money

"I'm the lucky one darlin' she treats me well" Jax said taking his change back

"Well if you ever need something on the side if she doesn't give it up maybe we can help each other out" the cashier smiled

"If it was any other woman I'd cheat in a heartbeat, but my wife Piper,. She can be terrifing sometimes so if I were you I wouldn't be flaunting around town that you tried to hit on Jax Teller" Jax laughed

"Wait Piper is your wife? I thought she was your sister" the cashier said shocked

"Yeah, that's my wife" Jax said

"Oh okay got it. She's broken many of my friends noses in high school" The cashier laughed

"She packs a punch. Broke my nose once, have a good night darlin'" Jax said walking out the door

Jax walked into the house to find Piper sitting at the table waiting g patiently for Jax

"Twenty pickles, I cleaned them out so no more tonight" Jax said setting the plastic bag on the table

"I love you" Piper said opening a pack and moaning as she took a bite

"Your taking your pickle eating way to sexual" Jax laughed setting his keys and wallet on the table

"You have no clue" Piper said taking another bite

"I'm gonna go back to bed, I've gotta be up for six" Jax said

"Babe, I'm sorry i woke you up to get me pickles" Piper frowned

"It's fine babe" Jax said kissing her forehead

"I'll just go myself next time" Piper said

"No, I don't mind going. I'd rather have you home rather then out in the middle of the night unprotected" Jax said

"How did I get so lucky?" Piper asked looking up at Jax

"I'm the lucky one babe, your giving me two perfect sons" Jax said resting his hand on her stomach

"Whoa what was that?" Jax asked pulling his hand back

"Someone kicked you" Piper said putting his hand back

"I'm sorry I wasn't around so much when you were pregnant with Thomas i missed all of this" Jax said

"Now you get twice the fun" Piper said

"Finish your pickles and come to bed,  suddenly not so tired anymore" Jax said

"Suddenly the craving is gone" Piper said standing up and putting her bag of pickles in the fridge and walking with Jax back to the bedroom
