Chapter Fifteen

Jax stormed in the house it was late and he didn't care his mother called and let him know that Piper asked her to take the kids overnight due to her son's idiocy. Walking into the kitchen he found Piper sitting at the table smoking a joint and a half bottle of whiskey sitting infront of her

"Did you know that when your body's adrenaline is so high that your mind either fights or flights?" Piper said taking a drag

"Or that you can get tunnel vision from your anger rising so high" she spoke again

Jax sat and played with his Sons rings on his fingers as she spoke.

"Or that when your heart breaks you can feel it in your stomach the most?" Piper said leaning forward

"Or when your significant other cheats on you that you know it, you can feel it through your entire body?" Piper said

"I'm sorry" Jax spoke

"No your not. Don't apologize to me for something you've been doing because apparently I suddenly disgust you. Why is that Jax?" Piper asked

"I have my reasons" he said leaning back in the chair

"Why? Because I was left home with three kids all the time and when you came home I was too exhausted to function?" Piper asked

"I have my reasons" he repeated

"THEN WHAT ARE THEY!" Piper screamed slamming her hand down on the table causing the bottle to rock back and forth

For a moment Jax saw the fire in Piper's eyes and run down through her finger tips, he had never heard her yell like this before, he didn't want to tell her why and his reasons especially after the way she reacted earlier

"You need to calm down" Jax said

Piper leaned up on the table

"This is calm, you haven't seen me angry yet" Piper snarled

Jax bit his lip "you really wanna know?" Jax asked

"If I didn't I wouldn't of asked Jackson" Piper said

"Because every time I look at you all's i can see is you lying in that fucking hospital bed nearly fucking dead. The fact that our children almost took you away from me" Jax said

"So by cheating on me is the goddamn answer? You are fucking crazy if you think this is over. Because it's not. I wasn't kidding back there today" Piper said

"I'm not divorcing you. You had your chance" Jax said

"Who the fuck are you?" Piper asked

"You know who I am" Jax said

"Your not the person I married not the one I've always loved. You've become a monster" Piper said taking a swig of whiskey

"Oh and your not? Throwing a fucking hissy fit today?" Jax asked

"Don't. Don't make me feel guilty for your fuck up Jax" Piper said pointing her finger at him

"Your the one that went in there sticking your nose somewhere it doesn't belong" Jax said

"I'm the fucking queen of Samcro my nose belongs anywhere it wants" Piper said

"Your not even old lady material anymore Piper, look at you. Your a mess your hairs never done, your makeup bag is all over the bathroom because of the kids. So please save the old lady speech" Jax said

Piper stood up and walked over to the cabinet to get a glass. If she drank anymore from the bottle she would end up breaking it over Jaxs head

"You just remember who made me into an old lady. You remember that I'm the mother of your children the ones you never see because your too busy with the blonde bimbo. Christ Jax ive had three kids and my body looks better then hers" Piper snarled

"You want me to sign those divorce papers? You sign custody over to me. I have your little episode on camera, the judge will seem you insane instantly" Jax said

"I'll see you in court you filthy prick now get the fuck out of my house" Piper said

"Try again, this is my house now go" Jax said

"Glad to know you don't care what happens to me" Piper said walking down the hall to get her backpack

"Kids are staying with me until further notice" Jax said

"Are you serious?" Piper asked storming towards Jax

"This would be a great story to tell to the judge" Jax smiled stopping Piper in her tracks

Piper walked down main street, literally having no where to go, she wasn't allowed home. Jax gave her enough money to get a hotel for the week at the dingy hotel on the outskirts of town.

Jax walked back into diosa in search of Colette, he found her sitting on her bed crying

"Hey babe" Jax said closing the door behind him

"Why didn't you ever tell me?" Colette asked

"Tell you what?" Jax asked

"That your married to that fucking pshyco" Colette asked

"I'm sorry" Jax said sitting next to her

"I can't compete with her Jax" Colette cried

"What are you talking about babe?" Jax asked touching her arm

"Don't you see how beautiful she is? Or how devoted she is to you?" Colette asked

"If she was devoted she should of stayed her ass home where she belongs" Jax said not understanding why Colette was acting like this

"If I knew you were married to someone like Piper I would of never pursued you" Colette spoke quietly

"Your taking her side?" Jax asked

"I was married once Jax for only a few years and I caught my husband cheating on me with my best friend. I know what she's going through right now and I promised myself I would never do that to someone else" Colette said

"We're getting a divorce" Jax pleaded

"I will always know that i was the one who took you away from your family, the one who caused your wife's heart to break" Colette said

"Please babe" Jax pleaded again

"Do you love her?" Colette asked

Jax was about to answer her when Chibs came onto the room

"Jackie boy we got a situation" Chibs said

"Can it wait? I'm busy" Jax said

"Charming PD just found Piper behind lumpys gym" Chibs said

"Doing what?" Jax asked standing up

"I don't know she's on her way to st Thomas but this was with her Unser asked me to deliver it to you" Chibs said handing Jax a piece of paper

I'm sorry I wasn't good enough

Jax read the note and looked back up at Chibs who handed him another one

I will always love you Jackson no matter your faults. Because I know somewhere deep down you still love me too. Please forgive me and tell Abel, Abby and John that I will always love them

Jax stuffed the noted in his pocket and ran out the door.
