The night before

(KATE'S P.O.V)

I knew it probably wasn't the best idea to ask Emi to the after party, but after such a great show I wanted to celebrate and I felt it only right that she was there. After all, she helped with some of the inspiration for those episodes! It was only a small party for tonight at a local bar. I introduced Emi to the cast and crew, she went down a treat! Her charm and poise was on full show, they loved her! "Hey, I see the way you're looking at her. What's going on there huh?" Leslie said. "Shhhh!" I pulled Leslie aside. "We're just friends! I know she's beautiful, smart,funny...but we're just friends. Anything more would get complicated" I tried to assure myself. But I knew it wasn't true. Over this past week, I'd really found myself falling for Emilia. Leslie knew I was lying but also knew I obviously didn't wanna talk about it, "well, you know I just don't want you to get hurt okay? You're my bitch" I laughed and embraced Leslie, she always had my back.

The SNL party began to wind down at about 1am. By this time, I'd definitely had a few too many glasses of wine. I was talking with some friends when my current fave song came on '24K magic' by Bruno Mars. I squealed and immediately ran to the dance floor, grabbing Emi on the way. We danced and laughed together...everything just felt right. By this point, Emi was kinda tipsy. I'd definitely drunk far too much as Emi spun me round, I lost my balance and she had to catch me.

Everyone began leaving, I was kinda tired but drunk enough to want to continue the party. I suggested that some of us head to the next bar but they all knew I was too drunk. I said my goodbyes and began to walk out and fell flat on my face! Emi picked me up from behind, "woah there princes! Let's get you home, I'll get you a taxi" Emi hailed me a taxi and opened the door for me. "Hey, I think you better come with me...you know to make sure I get home" I said cheekily, with a wink. Emilia just tutted and laughed and followed me into the taxi.
