The afternoon went by too quickly as Kate showed me around the offices. I even got to meet a few of my comedy heroes, it felt totally surreal! It still hadn't sunk it that Kate was showing me round. She has no idea but she was the whole made me realise that I had feelings for girls. I observed her during the afternoon, she's even sweeter than she comes across on TV. Her smile is completely infectious, her eyes so blue I just get lost in them..."So Emilia, do you have any questions?" I was snapped back into reality by Kate's question. "Nope, I think I'm all good actually!" I replied. Kate smiled and we headed back to her office. "Your parents must be super proud of you for getting this internship, at such a young age as well!" I pretended to gasp dramatically, "I'm not that young!" I teased. Kate laughed, I really couldn't stop staring at her. When she laughed, the deep dimple on her cheek was really prominent. As we arrived at her office, she shut the door and began to tidy up. It was the end of the day so we were preparing to go home. "Your boyfriend must find it difficult, with you being so far and all..." I looked at Kate confused and laughed. "Oh, no I definitely don't have a boyfriend...guys aren't my thing if you know what I mean" I laughed. In that moment, I could swear I saw her body language change. She seemed to straighten up, become more engaged. I may have been imagining it, but I could've sworn she even smiled! "Oh girl, I know exactly what you mean!"

We left Kate's office and headed down to the go our separate ways. "It's been a real pleasure to spend the day with you" I said. Kate smirked and replied "oh, the pleasure has been all mine" and with that she turned on her heels and walked away. Did she just...flirt with ME?! God, I hope so!
