Chapter 11

~Chapter 11~

.Emma's POV.

Okay so my bestfriend/crush is standing at my front door with a rose

He suddenly hands it to me with a smile and leans in and kisses my head and then steps inside and closes the door behind him.

"Wha.. what's this for?" I manage to say.

"Look Emma, we should talk" he walks in and sits in the lounge and pats the spot next him with a big friendly smile.

My heart is beating fast

My stomach is doing flips

My head has about a million thoughts running through it

"What's up?" I say sitting down next to Ashton looking up at him

"Okay this has taken a very long time to convince myself to do this but, Emma" he reaches over and places my hands in his.

"I like you, a lot" he says softly staring into my eyes

Emma speak say something, anything, your probably freaking him out do something anything

I suddenly take my hands out of his hold and place my hands on either one of his cheeks and lean forward and kiss him

WHAT ARE YOU DOING EMMA? what was going through your head, but I must say it feels amazing just like I've always imagined. it feels like there's fireworks going off in my stomach and my heart is probably beating so hard and fast he could hear and fell it.

He suddenly brakes apart after at least 10 seconds and smiles

"Emma I have always wanted to do that" Ashton says with a smile spread across his face revealing his dimples

"Ashton I.. I like you too" I stutter and smile up at him

"Emma I know we are best friends but i would love to be your boyfriend" Ashton confesses

I just smile and nod. he smiled and engulfs me in a warm hug.

I'm speechless Ashton Irwin likes me and is my boyfriend I think? I don't know but I'm enjoying this moment, nothing is being said and it's perfect, not awkward at all, just a perfect comfortable silence.

After a while of snuggling on the couch, and Ashton playing with my hair and small kisses on my face and neck and small talk, Ashton's stomach grumbles, I giggle and sit up.

"Em, I'm going to get some food, want anything? Ashton says standing from his place and heads towards the kitchen and I follow to watch him.

"So Em, I was thinking do you want to go out on Wednesday?" Ashton asks taking a bite from an apple.

"Um about that, I'm going out with Calum, he wants to make it up to me" I say also grabbing an apple

"What so you guys are talking against? after two years" he chuckles

He leans over and is hovering me, because I'm so short yes my brother is like a giant I don't know what happened to me, he towers over me .

"Yeah it was my idea for him to take me out, he is taking me shopping I'm going to try and put him through hell" I explain

"Just promise me one thing" Ashton says cupping my head.

"Yes" I say quietly. this is what annoys me about Ashton, normally I don't get shy and nervous and girly around guys but he has this effect on me. it's horrible.

Ashton leans down and whispers in my ear

"Don't let him steal you awake from me"

With that sentence I smiled and felt butterflies in my tummy and I got sudden goosebumps all over my body

All I manage to do is smile at him

.Ashton's POV.

After working up to courage of telling Emma just how I felt, I did it and lucky for me she feels the same, happiest moment of my life.

I want to take her out before we are officially girlfriend and boyfriend though, you know ask her romantically and make it worth it.

"So Em, I was thinking do you want to go out on Wednesday?" I ask hoping she'll say yes because I just love spending time with her.

"Um about that, I'm going out with Calum, he wants to make it up to me" Emma replies

No what if Calum makes a move, he can be quite the ladies man, no this can't happen. wait what am I talking about she just said that she likes me. I have nothing to worry about.

Wow I have never really been this protective over a girl before, maybe because well we are best friends and I really do like her.

I just want her to be mine. forever.

And I hope that this works out because well we are bestfriends and we have been for a long time

I snap out of my moment and continue the conversation

"What so you guys are talking against? after two years" I chuckle

"Yeah it was my idea for him to take me out, he is taking me shopping I'm going to try and put him through hell" Emma explains

"Yes" she says quietly

I lean down to and whisper in her ear.

"Don't let him steal you awake from me"

She looks up at me and nods her beautiful greeny blue eyes sparkling in the light beaming in the kitchen windows.

I just can't believe she's likes me back.
