"It's time to get up Lily," Drake said.
I groaned, "you're not supposed to able to get in here."
He kissed my temple, "you're on the couch in the common room, love. You'd better shower, we've got Umbridge in forty."
"Mmmmm. Can't I skip?"
"I'm under strict orders not to let you skip DADA classes."
"Sev?"
"McGonagall," He laughed. "Come on, we'll be late!" I stretched out like a cat and looked up at him. "If you don't get up, love, I'll drag you to classes."
"You're not supposed to be in 8 inches of me," I laughed.
"McGonagall's rules are more important than Umbridge's."
"Alright," I sat up and walked to the shower. After a quick shower and getting dressed we were on our way to DADA. My hand kept absent mindedly running through my black locks. "Anything else I need to know before we get in there," I asked from a respectable distance.
"Did you tell her yet?" Ginny came up beside me.
"I was about to," Drake defended.
"Will one of you just tell me?"
"We're not allowed to use magic," they said in unison before we walked in.
"WHAT!" The entire class turned to look at me. "Sorry, one moment," I pulled the two of them out by their wrist.
"Oww, Lily!" Drake pulled away and started rubbing his wrist.
"Call it pay back for not telling me sooner. No magic?"
"It's the ministry's veiw that a theoretical learning is enough to help us pass our owls," Ginny said in a pitched voice.
"I forgot how freakily accurate you are at that," Drake shuddered.
"That's not what matters right now," I snapped. "How are we supposed to communicate with eachother? Slytherin's and Ravenclaw's don't have class together, and we can't very well cross houses in front of Umbridge. We're supposed to be doing rounds, there is no way for us to protect the school and still avoid suspicion."
"We'll call a rebels meeting tonight and figure it out."
"Ginny," I sighed. "Get into class. RoR at 8 tonight, I'll handle Hufflepuff rebels, you and 'Moine get Gryffindor and tell Neville to get Ravenclaw's with Luna and Carson."
Ginny disappeared into the class room. "I get how I'll get Slytherin's rebels, but how are you getting Hufflepuff's?"
"There's always been a place all pariahs are allowed. I wasn't exactly popular when I was here."
"You got plenty of people to follow you," He pointed out.
"We'll talk about this later. Let's go," I walked into the room and took a seat in the back, pulling the shadows closer to me like a blanket. Drake walked to the front of the room and sat down as well. I noticed that his hair was slicked back. My eyes slipped across the room. They landed on Harry and then on the scratches he was trying to hide on his hand.
"Miss Black. Glad to see you would grace us with your presence. Care to explain what was more important than education?"
"The health of others?" I answered. "I spent my summer with my aunt and uncle, their son and I caught a muggle disease called strep throat. It's highly contagious and I wouldn't want to spread it to my fellow students," not entirely a lie. Dudley and I did catch strep throat, except we had it the June of the summer after 3rd year.
