                       Hermonie's POV
I broke down crying again. How was I supposed to do this? I had tried to hangout in the Slytherin common rooms, but Professor Potter kept forcing me away. I was scared that Eli and Draco thought I was avoiding them. I didn't have any other friends, no one in Gryffindor wanted to be after Harry had called me a freak. The Slytherin's always welcomed me when I could sneak in. They talked to me more then anyone else, and most of them thought the sorting hat had to be losing its marbles if it honestly thought I was purely Gryffindor. Some Gryffindor's had been taunting me mercilessly which caused me to skip dinner. I spent it in the girl's restroom, crying.

Footsteps crashed in. I nearly yelled at them to go away before I laid eyes on them and saw they were a mountain troll. I cowered beneath the sink and hid for my life. It grabbed hold of the sink I was under and ripped it off. I screamed.

Eli and Draco burst through the door.

"Drake, go make sure she's alright!"

"What about you?"

"It's a mountain troll Drake, not a dragon. I'll deal with it."

"Don't get yourself hurt!"

She began to speak in an odd tongue to the troll, who seemed to calm down. She somehow convinced him to let her cast a temporary shrinking spell so the professors could lead him out without him getting hurt.

"Where'd you learn that?" Draco asked with an arm around my shoulder.

"I spent four years in the Potter mansion and I could read for three of them, it's basically all I did," she laughed. Professors Snape, Black, Potter and a mildly annoyed headmaster burst into the bathroom.

"What are you the doing here?" Snape and Black looked worried, Potter looked angry.

"We heard Hermonie scream and there was no way I was going to let one of my friends get hurt," Eli answered. "We're fine and I tried to make sure we didn't cause to much damage."

"Ms. Black, though your intentions were noble you should have been in your common room."

"Sir, with all due respect, that was one of the stupidest ideas I've heard. Drake and I are Slytherin's, our common rooms are in the dungeons, which is exactly where professor Quirrel said the troll was. Drake and I wanted to make sure our housemates got down safely so we went down a short cut and heard Hermonie scream."

"Five points from each of you for disobeying orders," Professor Potter took pleasure in taking away points from Slytherin.

Dumbledore spoke next, "Mr. Malfoy, Ms. Black, ten points each for staying calm and protecting your comrade. Now that the threat has been taken care of, you may all go to your common rooms."

Eli answered for all of us, "of course sir. We'll see you in classes tomorrow professors," she grabbed mine and Draco's hand and walked away. After we got far enough away she stopped and started to examine me. "Are you alright? You didn't get hurt did you?"

"I'm alright. Thank you for coming to find me."

"Of course! You're our friend Hermonie, don't ever forget that."
                               Eli's POV
I continued to look over the hall for Hermonie. Last time we talked she told us that she didn't like Halloween and I wanted to make sure she was alright.

"I'm sure she's fine Eli. She probably didn't want to be around the lions."

"I just want to make sure she's-" I got cut off by professor Quirrel running in.
