"Traitor! Liar!" I screamed before running up to Luna. Blood gurgled in her mouth. He took a step closer and I aimed a wand at him menacingly. "Don't you come near her you filthy snake."

"Lil-" He tried taking a step closer.

"Expelliarmus!" He flew backwards and his wand flew into my hand. I lifted Luna and walked briskly to the room.

"Eli," Gin called. I ignored her and tried the healing spell. "Eli!"

"What Gin?" I snapped.

"You're doing it wrong," she pushed me aside and started muttering spells.

"I heard," Fred appeared suddenly. "You didn't tear your stitches, did you?"

"I don't bloody know," I snapped.

"Hand, now," I obeyed. He studied my hand carefully. "You almost broke a couple. I guess I'm lucky you didn't decide to punch him."

"You're not the only one," I mumbled.

"Will you calm down?" Gin snapped. "You've been running on empty since you're last detention, and don't think I haven't noticed that you haven't eaten or slept. I know you blame yourself for the DA mishap, but stop. You're going to get yourself killed."

"I'm fine Gin."

"No, you're not. Luna should be good, but I'm getting you some food. Fred, I will skin you if she leaves," Gin disappeared.

"Well I'm leaving," I told him.

"You just can't help yourself, can you?"

"Nope," I laughed. "And I haven't eaten in about a week. No way I'm eating food from the kitchens for my first meal."

"Believe it or not, I'm actually terrified of my sister, so let's maybe not get me killed."

"You're welcome to join me," I offered. "Come on, we haven't got much time, this'll have to be precise."

"Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise," I pulled him after me. My back passed against a statue and I pulled him back so that he was standing against me. I pushed a button on the wall and we disappeared into a tunnel. I quickly dragged him out of the school boundary lines.

"Okay, as much fun as this is, we have no way to get anywhere without you telling me. Neither of us has our brooms, and you can't apparate."

"There is one really weird way," I grimaced. "Okay, you have to trust me on this."

"I'd trust you with my life."

"Good, because this is also a little dangerous."

"Isn't everything with you?" I grabbed his hands and tried to focus. "What are you doing?" He asked in my ear, which caused me to start giggling. "Seriously, it's a little weird."

"Stop, I need to focus," I laughed. I tried again, this time feeling like we were being sucked up and twisted about. We stopped with a loud crack in the middle of the den.

"Eli? Was that you?"

"Yeah! It's not a bad time, is it?"

"Perfect timing," she came in and gave me a tight hug. "Vernon just left and shouldn't be home till tonight and Dudley will only be an hour. God you're practically bones, let me fix you something proper to eat."

"Please, no grapefruit," I laughed.

"No. We're eating real food," she laughed. Suddenly, she noticed that Fred was there. "Oh, Eli, you brought someone with you. I've never actually met any of her friends."

"You have to!" I protested.

"Really? Name one," she challenged.

"Okay, you've got me. Bacon?"

"So much bacon," she agreed.

We laughed as we cooked together. Fred felt completely isolated.

"Mom? Why do I smell bacon? Eli?" Dudley's hand went for the bacon before I slapped it away.

"Cooks eat first," I told him. Fred chuckled from his seat. I devoured a couple of slices of bacon before checking the time. "Sh-."

"Language," Aunt Petunia reprimanded.

"We've got to go. Unless you want to meet my uncle," I laughed before grabbing my wand.

"What's wrong with your uncle?"

"We're not quite sure yet, my bet is brain tumor. Let's go," I grabbed his hands and we apparated away. We stopped in Grimmauld place.

"Where's this?" He asked.

"Where we spent the most of our free time. Kreature! I'm back!"

"Miss," he ran up. "Miss never shows up anymore. Miss should come by more."

"I'm not always able to get away from school," I laughed. "I came to check up on you and find something."

"What are you looking for?"

"Uncle Reggie left me a letter," I passed it to him.

"Oh," He disappeared with a crack.

"Was that supposed to happen?"

"Yes, Kreature is digging something up for me."

"Something you have to hide."

"Until I can destroy it, yes."

"Why do I feel like that's something that will never change?"

"It probably won't," I answered. "I'm a leader and I can't stop that."

"I get that, but what happens after the war?"

"I don't know," I sat at a bar stool. "I'm not sure what I do after this."

"So, you have no aspirations after this?"

"Of course I do, but I don't know if I make it through the war! More than likely, I die, okay?"

"Lily-"

"I hate that god damn name," I stood up and went to the stairs where Kreature came down with the locket in hand. "Thank you."

"Of course miss," he handed it to me.

I hugged him. "I should go back to the school."

"Okay, miss," he attempted to smile.

"I'm sorry, I promise I'll try to come more often."

"Okay," he walked away. I went out the door.

"You know that I didn't mean to sound like that."

"I know just- let's get back to the school. I'm tired."

"Alright," he grabbed my hand, apparating us hogsmeade and walking back to Hogwarts with me.
