Yurio's P.O.V

I'm awake, but I'm too tired to open my eyes. Something smells off. Really good, but off, and my bed seems a lot softer than usual. I groan and rub my eyes then look at my surroundings. Panic instantly washes over me as I realise that I'm not at home in my bed, but in someone else's bed. Everything from yesterday started sinking in. I stood up only to fall down on the floor, feeling very light headed. I growled at my current situation. Just then I heard footsteps from outside the bedroom door. To say that I was scared would be an understatement, I was terrified. The door opened to reveal a tall man with dark brown hair that was shaved, with a tuff of hair that covered the top of his head. His face showed little to no emotion when he first walked in, but as soon as he was me his eyes were filled with both surprise and relief. He rushed over to me and I flinched, afraid that he would do something.

The man started to speak, "I'm not gonna hurt you, I was the guy who beat up that creep yesterday, remember?" The man brought his hand towards me offering to help me up. I took his hand and in one swift motion, he lifted me off the ground. "I actually don't remember much from yesterday, but thanks anyways." I said awkwardly. His face relaxed, "oh, well I'm Otabek Altin." I scratched the back of my neck, "Yurio Plisetsky." Otabek smiled down at me, and I smiled back. "Do you want something to eat? You've been out for a while." Otabek pointed to the door which was still open, showing a small hallway that lead to an open room. "Sure." After all, I haven't eaten since breakfast yesterday so I was pretty hungry. We made our way down the small hallway that lead to the open area. To the left I saw a beige love-seat sofa, facing a 50 inch flat screen TV.

Under the TV was a short bookshelf that held mostly books, but there were also a few cat figurines. I love cats. To the left of the TV and love-seat were french sliding doors, leading to a small patio. The view was beautiful. He had perfectly clear view of the city and everyone accompanying it. It must be really early in the morning because the sun was just starting to come up. It's oranges, reds and yellows filling the dimly lit sky, slowly turning it bright. I didn't realize I was staring at the wonderful view until Otabek spoke up. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" I spun my head around slightly to look at him. He was smiling fondly at the scene in front of him, though he didn't seem like the type of person to smile a lot. "Yeah," I almost whispered, sighing contently. Otabek made his way into the kitchen, which was on the right side of the open area, opening a few cupboards as if looking to see if he had anything interesting to eat. "What do you want? I have Cheerios," He paused for a while and I smirked. "Wow! Talk about a difficult choice." He chuckled a bit, "Cheerios?" I nodded my head once. "Cheerios."

Otabek pulled out two bowls and a box of Cheerios. After pouring the cereal into both bowls, he handed one to me. "You wanna sit outside?" He asked after I took the bowl. "Sure." We walked out on the patio and sat down on two chairs that surrounded a small table. "Hey, Yurio?" Otabek spoke after a while of comfortable silence. I turn my attention from my food to him. "Yeah?" I asked with a mouth full of food. He smiles slightly at my sloppiness and says, "do you wanna be friends?" My eyes widen in surprise. I had never been asked by anyone to be friends. "Uh yeah, sure." My eyes are still wide as I try to process what just happened. Otabek furrowed his eyebrows, "what's wrong, Yurio?" I shook my head and smiled. "It's just that, nobody has ever asked me to be their friend before." He smiled and tilted his head back. "Well then, I'm glad I got to be the first."
