Victor's P.O.V

"Oh, Victor! Yurio isn't returning any of my calls, I'm really worried about him. It's already 12am, what if something bad happened to him? What- what if he's scared and alone, lost in the city?" Yuri was panicking, tears already streaming down his slightly tainted cheeks. I was scared for Yurio too, but Yuri was taking it way worse than I was. "Yuri please, calm down-" he looked up at me from his phone, a desperate look taking over his face. "Victor, our baby is gone. We can't get in contact with him! I can't handle it, much less calm down!" My heart broke as more tear fell from his eyes. I walked closer to him, pulling him into a tight hug. Yuri wrapped his shaking arms around my waist tightly. Like he was worried someone would come by and take me from him at any moment. "I'm so scared, Victor. I just want our baby back." He sobbed loudly into my shoulder as I tried to calm him down a bit by rubbing his back gently. We stayed that way for a while, me whispering sweet nothings in his ear, him trying to contain his sobs. Yuri soon became very sleepy, all the crying he had previously done having drained him of all his energy. I picked him up bridal style and carried him up the stairs to our bedroom, passing by Yurio's room on the way. When I glanced inside his room, I saw Makkachin laying on the end of his bed. I sighed sadly, then continued into our room.

I laid Yuri down on the bed and covered him with the multitude of blankets that occupied it. Yuri's eyebrows were knitted together in the most upsetting way, and the frown he held seemed like it would be permanent. Then I felt them, my tears. They slowly rolled down my cheeks and fell onto the bed. I tried to wipe them away but I was unsuccessful, so I gave up and let them fall as I climbed into bed with Yuri, holding him tightly against my chest. Yuri then suddenly began to sturr in my arms. "Victor?" He looked up at me with saddened, tear filled eyes. "I'm sorry Yuri, I tried to be strong for you but-" Yuri shook his head, "shhh, I know, and you did a very good job." He kissed me softly and I kissed back. We both fell asleep, holding each other in our arms desperately.

Time skip

I woke up still holding Yuri close to me, his forehead against my chest and his leg around my hips. I smiled fondly at him, but it disappeared as soon as it appeared as I remember the events of last night. I check my phone to see if I got any calls from Yurio, but sadly there were none. It was 7:45am, around the time I would usually take Makkachin out for a walk. Before getting out of bed, I looked down at the Sleeping Beauty sleeping peacefully next to me. I smile down at him sadly, then get up and start looking for Makkachin. I grabbed his leash from the kitchen counter, then proceeded to search around the house for him. Walking back upstairs, I check in Yurio's room. Just as I suspected, Makkachin was still laying down on his bed. I noticed his tail started to wag slightly when he heard me coming, but as soon as he saw it was me, his tail stopped and a sad whine could be heard from him. I sighed and called him over, holding up the leash for him to see. He didn't move. "Come on Makka, don't you want to go for a walk?" I asked just before another whine could be heard. Giving up, I walked into the dark room and sat down on the bed next to Makkachin. Once I sat down, Makkachin readjusted himself so that his head was on my lap. I unconsciously started scratching behind his ear, calming both of us. We sat like that for a while, until I heard Yuri talking to someone, most likely over the phone, in our room.

I got up from the bed, curious as to who it was Yuri was talking to. When I walked in, Yuri, who was sitting on the opposite side of our bed, turned slightly towards me. He smiled through the worried look he previously held, making me worried. "Okay, hurry home. Love you." He waited for a second before pressing the off button on his phone, and with a huge sigh of relief, flumped onto the bed landing on his back with his arms slightly above his head. "Who was that?" I asked, hoping it was Yurio. Yuri smiled up at me, "Yurio," I suddenly became very impatient. "Really!? Where is he? Is he okay? Why wasn't he returning our calls-" Yuri planted a soft kiss upon my lips to shut me up. It worked and I kissed him back, turning the kiss from soft to passionate. After a while, we pulled away for some air, the taste of his lips still lingering on mine. "Yurio is fine. He said that he was at a friends house and forgot to call before he fell asleep. His friend will be driving him home so we don't have to worry about picking him up." Yuri spoke with the most comforting voice I have ever heard. I sighed in relief, pulling him in for a tight hug.

"Yuri," I spoke gently, and he hummed in response. "I love you." He giggled before looking up at me, showing a small smile that seemed to light up my entire world. "I love you, too." We held each other close for a few minutes before deciding to downstairs and make some breakfast, hoping for time to pass by quickly so that we could see our son again.
