Yurio's P.O.V

I'm at the park again, though I don't know why I would want to come back here considering what happened yesterday. I walk towards the swings, but just before I sit down on one, I decide to go down the slide a few times. I climb the stairs and ladders leading to the swirling slide. When I get to the top, I'm finally unable to see the bottom of the slide. I sit at the top and stare ahead of me for a moment, taking in the beautiful dusk setting upon the ghost town around me. The wind whirled around me like a tornado, sending my hair flying every which way. The swings whine with every push the wind gave, like a child laughing when an adult pushes them on the swings. I take one more deep breath, then I send myself down the slide. When I got to the bottom of the slide, I noticed a man from yesterday. I try to stop but fail as the slide quickly becomes oily and slippery. The man grins as I slide of the edge of the slippery death ride, fear paralyzing me. He walks over to me slowly as my heart rate increases, I silently pray for someone to help me but no one comes. The old man grabs me by my hair, earning a yelp from me. His grin grows as he lifts me off the ground, dangling me above him. I hear barking in the background, but it's very faint. The old man threw me on the ground, climbing on top of me and trying to rip my pants off.

"No! Stop!" Suddenly, the scene around me starts to disappear, the sound of the swings and old mans laughter morph with the sound of my name. "Yurio!" I could hear Papa, "Yurio, please wake up!" Dad, I'm asleep? I sit up immediately, panting and in a cold sweat. Someone was holding me, who is it? I look over to my right to see Papa hugging me from the side, Dad is behind him looking as worried as ever. Tears come to my eyes as I start to remember my dream and I hug Papa back tightly. "It's okay sweetie, it was just a bad dream. You're okay now." Papa spoke gently, trying to calm me down. Dad sat down on my bed by my knees and reached for my shoulder, making me pull away from Papa to look and him. "What happened, are you okay to talk about it?" Dad asked softly, like if he'd said it any less cautiously I would surely break into a million pieces. I nodded, wiping away the stray tears from my cheeks. "I was at the park, just like yesterday, and the same old man was there, and he got further with me this time- oh god, he knows my name!" At this point I was a panicking mess. Hiding my face in my hands, more tears started to fall, the memories becoming too much for me to handle emotionally. "This old man, do you remember what he looks like?" Papa asked while rubbing my back. "Yeah, he looked to be in his mid to late 60s. His light brown trench coat was tattered and worn, his back was hunched in the most unsettling way. The hat he wore seemed to hid his face from everything around him other than me, and his bulky work boots were so dirty you couldn't tell what the original colour of them was." My voice broke every few words as I tried desperately not to bawl my eyes out. Papa nodded and Dad furrowed his eyebrows. "What did his hair look like?" I sniffed and thought about it, "I couldn't really tell 'cause of the hat, but the was silver-white and kinda long, like mid-neck length?" Dad stood up and Papa followed his action. "Bastard!" Dad gritted through a clenched jaw. "Victor, do you know who it is?" Papa asked. I only stared at them in silence. "It's Yakov." What? Who's that? I can't hear what they're saying anymore, the ringing in my ears won't stop. I'm trapped. How does he know who it is? Wait- what are we talking about? Why am I so worked up? I can't remember, I just want to go to sleep. But wait, isn't sleep what got me here in the first place? Suddenly all my vision was covered in little black dots that grew at a very rapid rate, and I fell unconscious.

"That dirty bastard, I'm gonna kill him." Victor spat, "That piece if shit won't live to see tomorrow." He continued his blind rage as he paced around Yurio's room. "Victor calm down, you don't know it was him." I tried to reason with him but he wouldn't listen. "No! Yuri, I know it was him." He growled in frustration, "How did he even find out about him? We never told him that we adopted a child!" Victors tenseness made me anxious, trying desperately not to break into tears. "Victor, I know that you're hurt, but so is Yurio! You of all people understand how he is feeling right now! You know how delicate he is and will be for a while! You said you weren't going to scare us again, look at what you're doing now." Victors arms relaxed and fell to his side. "I'm sorry Yuri," I was about to say something, but Makkachin barked suddenly grabbing both of our attention.

"Yurio!" We both shouted and ran to his side. Yurio lay on his side, his right arm hanging over the edge of his bed. I felt his forehead, causing my eyes to widen. "Victor he's burning up, fast." I said urgently. Victor stood up and ran to the bathroom, coming back with a wet cloth and placing it over Yurio's forehead. His hair was beginning to get sticky with sweat as I combed my fingers through it. I sighed and looked over at Victor who had a hand running through his own hair out of frustration. "Victor," He turned to me, "You need to tell Yurio."
