Chapter 13

Katie was backstage and trying to recover from shock. 'Why was he here?! I heard he was still in prison' she thought while massaging her temples. Suddenly, her phone rings and she sees Zak's picture. She picks it up. "Hello" Katie said, looking at a mirror. "Hey, we need to talk" Zak said. "About what?" she asked. "About what Maryse said. Was it true?" Zak asked, looking at Aaron. The last person she wanted to know was Zak. "Yeah. Everything she said was true. Listen, Zak, that was my past and I don't like talking about it" she replied, looking down. Zak sighs. "I'm here for you. Aaron's here for you. We're all here for you" Zak said and Katie smiles softly. "Yeah. That's what I like about you guys. You stick together no matter what" she said, still smiling. Zak smiles and looks at Aaron. "We'll see you soon, alright" Zak said. "Alright. Love you. Kiss Hunter goodnight for me" Katie said and they hang up. Nikki Bella, who was new to Raw, comes in. "Hey Katie. It's nice to see you again." Nikki said, smiling. "Hey" Katie said. They hug each other and they giggle. "Sorry to hear about what Maryse said. She just wants to see you distracted" Nikki said. "It's alright. Maryse can't get me that easily. I'm a She Devil. I don't let people get in my mind" Katie said, smiling. Nikki nods and smiles.

Zak's house
"Can't believe everything that woman said is true" Zak mumbles, rubbing his face. "Well, everyone has inner demons. She has a lot of them, trust me Zak" Aaron said, looking at Zak. Zak looks at Aaron and stretches. "At least is not distracting Katie" Zak said and looks at the T. V. screen. Katie was walking with Nikki and they get stopped by Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon. "Hey ladies. We need a word with Katie privately, Nikki" Mick said. Nikki hugs Katie and leaves. The three of them look at each other for a while. "Listen, Katie, what Maryse said is very serious. We would like to have a therapist involved in case your mental health is deteriorating. If it is then we have to strip you from your championship" Stephanie explained. Katie looks at her and then at Mick. Aaron and Zak look at each other. Hunter growls along with Gracie. "My mental health is fine. The one who needs to be checked is Maryse for saying those personal things in front of millions of people" Katie said and walks away. "Unbelievable" Mick mumbles. The cameras then return to Cole, Lawler, and J. R. looking at each other. "Well, I think Katie deserves a little of space after tonight" Lawler said. "What Maryse said was horrible. She shouldn't have revealed a really dark secret that people like to keep" J. R. said. Zak rubs his face again and gets up. "Ladies and Gentlemen, speaking of Katie. She's trending after this whole fiasco. People are supporting her while others tell her to stop whining and act like a kid" Cole said. Zak shakes his head. "They can all go to hell" he said. "Dude, calm down. Are you a protective boyfriend?" Aaron asked and Zak blushes of embarrassment. Zak and Katie forgot to tell Aaron about them dating. How fun will it be to explain Aaron what happened yesterday.
