"Big day! Big day!" I'm woken up by Effie's high pitched voice early in the morning. Maybe it's already late but I couldn't sleep yesterday. I was thinking about Gale and that eleven I got.

After showering I get to the dining room to Gale and Haymitch talking to each other. I'm too hungry to acknowledge them so I fill up my plate with a mountain of food and start gobbling up. When the silence is too heavy, I stare up at them. "You're going to coach us for the interview right?"

Every year after the tributes got their training scores, there will be a interview where the tributes, well, be interviewed. The whole interview will be telecasted to the whole nation as well, along with all the things that happen with the tributes, including the Games.

"Yes," Haymitch replies, I'm really glad Haymitch is willing to stay sober enough to guide us.

"Cool, so what's the plan?" I glance briefly at Gale, who is wiping his mouth with a napkin elegantly.

"Effie will coach you for presentation and I will coach you for content. Four hours each." Haymitch answers. "Do you want to do it separately or together?"

"Separately."

"Together."

Haymitch looks at us with a humoured expression. "Together or separate?"

"Separate."

"Together."

Haymitch barks out a laugh that sounds like someone hit him. "Decide quickly now, kids."

I glare at Gale. "I want separate training."

Gale sighs. "Fine, whatever you want, Katniss."

Haymitch shakes his head in exasperation. "Katniss will start with Effie first, then move to me. Gale starts with me then Effie."

"Sounds good to me."

"Cool." Gale is scowling.

I finish up my breakfast and head to my room to rest. A moment later Effie comes into my room and demands me to put on a full length gown and heels. She instructs me to walk around in them and I do. Or try to.

The heels are the worse part. I've never wore heels before and it's really awkward. The shoes keep your feet in a constant tip-toe position and I think it's not healthy for your feet. The heels are at least 4 inches tall and I couldn't even stand properly in them. When I finally gain my balance in them, I take a big step forward and fall flat onto my face. I think I just broke the heels.

"Katniss!" Effie screams as she pull me up and yank the broken heels from my feet. "Now I have to get you a new pair." She rolls her eyes and storms out of the room. This is why I requested separate training – I don't want Gale to see my embarrassment.

Effie comes back with a new pair of heels and hands them to me. "Here, put these on and please walk carefully and don't take big steps, or you'll just make a fool of yourself."
