Y/N POV
My first night in the hospital wasn't so bad. My mom and I stayed up most of the night getting to know each other better while my father sleep peacefully on the couch. Somewhere down the line I fell and sleep and I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom I looked over on the couch and my dad had my mom in his arms. I didn't say anything I just climbed back in bed and went to sleep.
My parents have been up for awhile now and they're talking like I'm not even in the room. So I'm going to pretend that I'm still asleep so I can hear some more tea being spilled.
"I left Ella." Dad said.
"When?" Mom asked.
"Yesterday. She packed her things and left the house. When Y/N gets out of here it'll just be me and her at the house. Lacey went with her mom." Dad said.
Thank God that the evil stepmom and sister are gone, honestly I was getting sick of them anyway.
"Why are you telling me this John?" Mom asked.
"I'm telling you this because I want to give us another try. Lily ever since you've come back into my life I've been happier than I had ever been with Ella." Dad said.
"If you were so unhappy with Ella then why didn't you leave her all those years ago?" Mom asked.
Shots fired, this tea is getting hot.
"Lacey came into the picture and then you started seeing someone, then you ran away. I wanted to be with you Lily I really did but you left me. When you were gone I felt like a piece of my heart was missing. Then every time I looked at Y/N I saw you and it hurt." Dad said.
"John you're married with two beautiful girls why would you had wanted to be with someone so screwed up like me?" Mom asked.
"I never loved her Lily. I always loved you. I wanted to build a life with you but you left before I even had the chance. Now that you're back I don't want to lose my chance again. Y/N needs you, she doesn't want to admit it but she going through a really tough time and she needs her mother in her life. And I need my best friend back in my life. So what do you say?" Dad asked.
I laying in bed with my fingers crossed praying that my mom would give my dad another chance. For what I hear there's still some sparks between the two of them.
"When I moved to LA, got my life and went to nursing school, and started working at a hospital, I didn't date at all." Mom said.
"Are you serious?" Dad asked.
"Yeah I guess you can say that I never got over you. It's been awhile since someone took me on a date and made me feel special." Mom said.
I slowly opened my good eye to see what was going on. My dad was holding my mom's hand and was looking deep into her eyes while he was along her on a date. I have to admit my old man is pretty smith when it comes to the ladies, I see where I get it from. Then my parents kissed each other. That's when I knew I had to put wake the hell up and see what was really good. I stretched my arms and let out a loud yawn.
"Our little princess is waking up." Dad said
"Hi dad. Hi mama." I said.
"Hi sweetheart. How are you feeling this morning?" Mom asked.
"I'm still sore but I'm okay." I said.
"Don't you worry about a thing, I'm going to deal with those bastards personally. They won't be able to mess with you or anyone else by the time I'm done with them." Dad said.
