God-Given Dreams Bring Glory to God

All things that God creates and gives, including your dreams, are made for His glory.

Will your dreams bring glory to God? Or will it bring glory to you?

God does not share His glory to anyone else – yes, not even to you. The Lord tells us in Isaiah that He does not give His glory to another. His glory is always His priority.

God-given dreams are made for His glory.

It makes us wonder: Why do we need to do everything for His glory? Can we at least have some glory for ourselves?

The truth is, we cannot afford not to give God all the glory.

We need it.

We live in a troubled and evil world. It is foolishness to rely on ourselves. Can a drowning and dying person save himself? No, we need someone bigger to rescue us and also help us achieve our dreams.

We need someone invincible. We need God.

That's why we need the glory of God. That's why everything that we do should be for His glory. This is not just for us, but also for others who will look into our life.

When you decide to do everything for the glory of God, you allow God to take control. You say, "Okay God, this dream is for You. Now you have to make this succeed because your glory is at stake."

Max Lucado in his book It's Not About You shows us the importance, the power, and the weight of seeking the glory of God. He exclaimed:

"To seek God's glory is to pray, 'Thicken the air with your presence; make it misty with your majesty. Part heaven's drapes and let your nature spill forth. God, show us God."

God show us God.

Don't we all need to see God in our dreams?

God-given dreams need God. It is for God.

And this may come as a surprise to some of you, but you are also part of God's glory.

St. Irenaus said, "The glory of God is a human being fully alive!"

When you discover your God-given dreams –when you live life with passion – you bring God glory.

Each of us has God-given dreams. These dreams are in line with our desires and our gifts. These dreams are planted so we can live life with passion and bring glory to God.

Take a look at your dreams right now:

Are they impossible to attain?

Are they in line with the Word of God?

Did they stand the test of time?

Do they meet the needs of others?

Will they bring glory to God?

Who you are right now is God's gift to you. What you are going to do with your life is your gift to God.

We bring glory to God if we honor our God-given dreams. We praise Him when we live a life full of passion. We delight Him when we work on reaching our God-given dreams.

Will you bring Him glory? Will you start working on your God-given dreams?
