"You're going to be in Italy next month, right?"

"Yeah."

"Okay, well I have a plan!"

Emil had been informed that Michele had gotten the lead role a while back, so he had instantly booked a flight to Italy so he could be there for the play. Plus, there was an ice rink near that place, so he wouldn't miss out on any practice.

Sara had called him to discuss some business.

"And what's your plan?" Emil questioned, intrigued.

"Well, right after the play, after all of Mickey's fans get pictures with him, you give him some flowers and compliment him on his acting."

"Uh-huh," Emil nodded. "Continue."

"So then you're going to ask him what his favorite restaurant is, and you're going to ask him out. You won't have to pay, I got that covered."

"Okay, sounds good!"

And that was exactly what he was going to do.

Emil arrived in Italy after one long month of waiting for what seemed like ages. Ready to get what he wanted again, he was eager for seeing Michele again. But what he was unaware of was that Sara had another plan too, a smaller one, but a good one.

Sara had told him that she and Michele would pick him up, but as he frantically searched around the terminal, there was no one he recognized. He was in a county he didn't know, with a language he couldn't understand, and he didn't even know how to call a taxi. He was... alone.

Emil's grip on his suitcase tightened. How he despised being alone. Emil didn't know what to do. He brought his scarf up so it would cover his face, in case he felt any tears come. Emil took out his phone. Instead of freezing in place, he insisted decided to text Sara.

Me: I'm at the terminal.... where are you?

Sara🌷👸🏽: Near a crowd of people, there's a perfume store, and look to the entrance.

So Emil did as told. He found the perfume shop and looked near the entrance, and when he saw Michele waiting for him, Emil smiled widely and ran up to him.

"MICKEY!" Emil yelled as he ran up to Michele to hug him. Michele seemed startled but hugged back.

"Nice to see ya, buddy." Michele greeted as he patted Emil's back. They broke the hug and Emil stared at Michele. They exchanged awkward smiles and glances until Emil decided to speak first.

"How have you been?" Emil asked.

"Good, what about you?" Michele replied.

"Alive." Emil replied with a chuckle. Michele raised his eyebrow.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Michele asked.

"It means I'm hanging in there," Emil softly sighed.

"Did something happen?" Michele asked, his voice turning soft. He sounded worried. Michele looked at Emil in the eyes.
