Loki had been right. The next days were a living hell. Every newspaper in the city, it seemed, had pictures of Tony and Loki in that ice cream shop, and every single one of them had come up with different theories on who the 'mystical woman' was. And alarmingly few of them actually wrote anything about the fact that the two had just dissapeared in thin air. Everyone seemed far more interested in the fact that Tony had been seen with a woman. Priorities, huh?

Tony had been trying to keep out of the eyes of the press, but it became harder and harder as the internet began to come up with their own ideas. Some said she was a new lover. Some said she was an old relative from another town. Some said it was Pepper in disguise. Some said it was a male lover in disguise. That one was actually the closest, even though Tony had to disagree on the lover thing. When he mentioned it to Loki, the god had just flashed his trademark smirk, and blown a kiss at Tony while winking.

Right now Tony sat in the living area of the tower, his hands rested in his lap, newspaper on the table in front of him, and Steve on the other side of the table.

"Tony."

"Yes, cap."

"Are you planning on explaining yourself?" Steve lened his back against the wall behind him. His arms was folded infront of his cheast and he had an serious expression on his face as he looked at the engineer.

"That depends on what you think I should be explaining. Are you talking about how my suits works? Or how I became so rich and famous? Or why I choosed to use that money to build weapons of mass destruction?" Tony inspected his nails, and knew exactly what the captain was talking about. But he was a commited smug asshole, so of course he was gonna pretend like he had no idea what Steve was talking about.

"How about explaining why you were seen eating ice cream with an unknown woman, and why you haven't talked to the press about it yet? Usually you are never late to tell the world all about your sexual advances." said Steve.

"My sexual advances? Really, Capsicle? I am way more classy that you think. I prefer to buy my lady a drink, not an ice cream, before taking her to my bed. I thought you knew that by know." Tony picked up a cup of coffee from the table, and took a slow sip.

Steve just shook his head, and sighed.

"Who is she, Tony?"

"I don't see why that's important?"

"It's not. Not to me, at least."

"Then to who?" asked Tony curiously.

"Fury." answered the blond.

"Fury? Really? Why does he care about who I eat ice cream with?"

"He cares, because when checking the pictures of you two, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s experts caught something weird. Something you usually don't see on a picture of you with a lady."

Tony eyed Steve, and tried to figure out what he was getting at.

"It was a ring. A ring with a particular symbol on it. A symbol which Thor has been showing us multiple times, so many times that by now, I am very well familiar with it. Can you guess what it was?" Steve looked at Tony, who just raised an eyebrow. "It was the symbol of Asgard. And, not only that, but the symbol for Asgard's royal family. I've only heard of two people who possess such rings. Thor is one of them. I think you know who the other person is."

"Sorry, Steve, but I have no idea."

"Does the name 'Loki' sound familiar? Thor's little brother? The little brother who Thor always talks about, but who we haven't heard a word about  in weeks?"
