Chapter 7:Confessions

Waking up on Monday morning was the worst. You woke up in a mood,giving your parents slight attitude.
The only time that you lightened up abit was when you were walking with Kageyama. He definitely changed,as he had given you a warm hug the moment he saw you.

After a long painful day of school,you went to the volleyball court,where everyone was practicing. You felt weak,but you didn't want to disappoint Kageyama. Your knees began to tremble as soon as you set foot inside the court. A sudden tiredness swept over you. Still,you pushed yourself to walk further. While walking along the edge,you just remembered that you did not take your medication. But,you left that aside as well. You stood alongside Kiyoko as the rest were in a practice match. "Hello,(Name)" Kiyoko said softly,while looking at you and adjusting her glasses. "Hey" you mumbled. It was a habit,alongside blushing. "You don't look so good. Did you take your medication?" She asked. You began to sweat. How did she know? You just laughed nervously. "I'll take that as a no. Please do take care of yourself, you're as fragile as a flower" Kiyoko said before looking at the clipboard in front of her. "Y-Yes,I will" you nodded. Fragile as a flower? Were you that weak? Maybe...

You snapped out of your thoughts when you heard Nishinoya, Tanaka and Hinata come in your direction. "(Name)-Chan!" They all yelled in unison and all three gave you a hug,almost squishing the life out of you. "How are you?" "We missed you!" "I hope you're better!" "Did you miss us?" "Did Kageyama take good care of you?" "Is your eye all better?" The loud trio bombarded you with questions. "Guys,please calm down..." You held your temples. A headache began to form. The three were then pushed away by a raged Kageyama. You couldn't see his eyes. His raven bangs were blocking them,and he looked scary. Ok,a little too scary. You gulped,as he was right in front of you,with everyone watching. And you really hated being the center of attention.

He then raised his head slowly. Instead of looking upon a face that could give a person the creeps,you saw the most genuine smile and bright eyes. "Kageyama?" You were confused. Then and there,he pulled you in for another hug. Everyone gasped,knowing he wouldn't do something affectionate. "You shouldn't have come" he whispered in your ear. "You're tired,aren't you?" He then pulled away. "Just stay here. Don't do anything" he instructed before going back to practice. Then you saw Sugawara head your way.
"Hi,(Name)!" He greeted warmly. You just smiled back. "You look exhausted" he stated as you nodded slowly. Standing made your legs pain. "Can I... Lean on you? I am very tired" you asked nervously. "Sure,you can! You don't need to ask!" He flashed a toothy grin. Sighing,you rested your head on Suga's shoulder,and waited for practice to finish.

When practice was over, you were already half asleep on Suga's shoulder. Kageyama had only noticed now,that you were dozing off,while leaning on Suga. He quickly came to you,got a grip on your shoulders and shook you up. "Kageyama! What are you doing?!" Sugawara exclaimed, trying to stop him. You were now wide awake,your left eye red from lack of sleep. "(Name),please wake up" Kageyama whispered. You tried,but your eyelids were heavy. He brought his face close to yours. His was just an inch away. "Let's go home,then" he said and was about to get his bag. Before he could move his face away from yours,Tanaka jumped from behind him and pushed the back of Kageyama's head,while Suga slowly pushed your head until your lips met with Kageyama's. Your left eye was wider than it ever was,despite the fatigue. Kageyama was blushing a deep red,so were you.

You were about to quickly pull away,but to your surprise, Kageyama was actually using the chance to kiss you. His eyes were closed,he seemed to be enjoying the moment. Everyone else cheered,saying that their 'plan' worked. You kissed back,you wanted to show that you loved him too.

It was a shockingly long kiss,obviously until you both had to pull away from each other for air. "How was that,(Name)-chan?" Hinata popped next to you and Kageyama. You just blushed. "Aww,you're so cute when you blush! Did I ever tell you that?" Suga piped next to Hinata. That made you blush even more. Your face was practically glowing red. "Did you plan this,dumbass?!" Kageyama roared,about to give Hinata a thrashing. Hinata held his hand in front of him as defense. "But you enjoyed it,didn't you?" Hinata then said which made Kageyama stop in his tracks. His face turned pink. "Maybe... I did" he mumbled. "What was that?" Hinata asked. "None of your business!" He turned away from Hinata. "Can we go now?" You asked impatiently,wrapping your arm around his. "Yes,let's go" he said,slinking his bag over his shoulder. "See you all tomorrow" you said lazily and waved to them. "Take care!" They all said in unison.

You still had your arm wrapped around Kageyama'a arm when he was walking you home. "Kageyama?" You call out to him. He looked down at you. "Yes?" He replied. "About what happened..." You started,which made Kageyama stop walking. He pain full attention to you. "You were kissing me first. Do you by any chance... Have feelings for me? Because I have loved you from the day I layed my eyes on you" your face was red again,you were confessing to him. You squeezed his arm,but you didn't hurt him. "I...I..." He stumbled upon his words. His face was also red. He then took you by your shoulders, and looked deep into your (eye colour) eyes. "I love you too... Ever since I hurt you,I thought you would never forgive me,when actually you still had a place for me in your heart... I've never met someone like you before... Y-You're my everything now,I just couldn't find the chance to tell you!" He pulled you to his chest. He was literally crying,something you never witness him do.

You knew right then that he had similar feelings for you,and was just as nervous,but did not show it. You slowly pulled away from him,and began wiping his tears away. He then held your hand. "So... This means that we'll be together, right?" "Yes,always" you pecked him on the cheek. "Now let's go,I'm tired" you yawned. Both of you linked arms,rested your head on his arm  as you and him walked down the street. You had your eyes closed,clinging to Kageyama tightly. While you had your eyes closed,Kageyama looked down at your sleepy form. He smirked,an idea on his mind. Then,out of the blue,he picked you up bridal style. This again woke you with a shock and your face glowing red again. "Kageya-!" you blurted,but he cut you off,leaning in and placing his cold lips on your soft,warm ones for another passionate kiss. You then covered your red face after he pulled away. He laughed. "Suga was right when he said that you're cute when you blush" he said and smiled down at you. "And you can call me Tobio from now on. You've earned the right to do so,now that we're together" You slowly moved your hands away after he said that. "Y-Yeah. Ok" you said shyly, burying your red face in his chest.

Yet,you smiled,knowing that your crush had most likely became your boyfriend.
