"Foster me?" I say in disbelief. They really want to foster me.

"Yeah." Lin smiles nodding his head.

"You can't be serious!" I practically yell. I sit up in the hospital bed looking at Lin.

A nurse pops in and tells us to be quiet- "There are patients recovering from surgery."

But I'm too excited to listen I hug Lin and he hugs back.

"You'll obviously be staying in the room you have now, and be spending lots of time in the theatre, they love having you there." Lin smiles genuinely.

After talking to me about the details Vanessa and Sebastian soon came up with the bandages.

"Sebby!" I squealed.

"Sissy!" He said reaching out of Vanessa's arms. Vanessa places Sebastian on the bed and he crawls up to my head and hugs me.

"Hey buddy." I say as he crawls under the sheets and snuggles close to me. I laugh and ruffle his head.

"Sebastian! Sissy needs her rest!" Vanessa laughs.

"So do I!" He pouts and snuggles even close to me.

After an hour or so talking through the details of the fostering, its time for Lin and Vanessa to leave.

"C'mon Sebby," Vanessa said picking him up. "Time to go."

"I don't wanna leave," He pouted. "I wanna play trains with Sissy." A train's wheels glided along my shoulder and I laughed.

"You can see me tomorrow, okay bud?" I reassured him.

Vanessa flashed me a sign of thanks, picked him up and left with a wave in my direction.

"Bye, Keira. I love you." Lin said kissing my forehead.

He loved me.

"Bye." I whispered. He turned out the lights and I was left alone. I was alone this time, but not afraid. I had a family who loved me. A brother who will think that we're blood related. A mother who cared. A father who I could bond with. This time, I closed my eyes willingly- not because I was afraid of what would happen, so I could dream what would happen. I sighed a sigh of relief and fell asleep with a smile on my face.

Im on a ski vacation so i wont be able to update until Jan 2nd? Or at least I think so. Just a heads up, if i do update they will be really short chapters because im busy skiing all day: )
