"Oh my gosh, Keira, are you okay?" said Anthony as he rushed over to my side.

"Y-yeah, I'm good," I said smiling weakly.

"You sure?" He said rubbing my back.

"N-no." I choked on my continuous tears.

"Let it all out, babe, let it all out."

And I did. I wept into Anthony's shoulder until there were no tears left. As I calmed down, I grasped onto Anthony's hand. He was taken by surprise but wrapped his hands around mine.

"Do you wanna talk about it?"I could tell he was walking on eggshells, not wanting to hurt me.

"Well, at school I have two friends who are both lesbian and are a couple. And this one kid Aidan started bullying them and calling them f-fags. And then this other kid who is part of our friend group was literally just standing there, not doing anything. And I freaked out at him. It was like he didn't care about his friends."

"Well, just so you know, everyone in this cast is supportive of LGBTQ+ rights, so if Aidan doesn't accept them, we can." Smiled Anthony.

"Thanks, Ant. I appreciate it." I said hugging him.

"No problem, Keira, no problem at all."

"Goodnight Sebby! I'll see you in the morning!" I said closing the door to Sebastian's nursery. Vanessa was working late on a case and had asked me to put Seb to bed. I grabbed my mug of green tea off of the counter and went to my favourite spot in this house — the fire escape. On the side of the building, there was a small square of metal in between the stairs and I loved to sit there and watch the city. I slid open the sliding doors and sat down on the cold metal. Taking a sip of my tea I smiled at the view New York was amazing. Suddenly, I heard a knock on the window behind me. I turn around seeing Lin. He opened the sliding door and joined me.

"Hermosa, sì?", he asks gesturing to the sky,

"Sì, muy hermosa."
"Your Spanish is getting a lot better."
"Gracias, Papi."
"You'll never guess what happened at the theatre today. The most adorable gay couple came to the show today and at stagedoor, I could tell they were scared to come to the front so I called them up. Ironically, their names are Alex and John. They're young and in love, their life could be beautiful"

It was really cute, but it reminded me of what happened to Amelia and George today. I must've sniffled a bit because he asked, "Is there something wrong, Niña?"

"Well, my fr-friends Amelia and George walked int-to school holding h-hands and *hiccough* this bad–no horrible bastard, Aidan called them... f-fag-g-gots."

"Keira, you know all of the cast supports LGBTQ+, especially me. This is inexcusable behaviour. I'll go to Principal Rodney first thing tomorrow."
All I could do was sob.

"Hey, remember I'll always accept anyone, it doesn't matter who they love, they're still a person."

I snuggled into his shoulder looking out onto the sparkling lights of Manhattan. "Lin?" "Yes, Keira?" "I-I love you." "I love you too, and I hope you know that."

A/N: Hey it's dream_katcher again! I helped Nat write part of this chapter and uploaded for her bc she's been a bit busy lately. She wanted to acknowledge Fangirlingunicorn_
because she's really supporting the book. Thanks from  both of us! Hope all of you have a great day/night/afternoon/whenever you're reading this!
