"You're kidding right? A foster-dad daughter day?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yeah! Of course, is that okay?" He said the last part softly.

"Oh yeah! It's fine, lets go!" I said leaping out of the car.

"Woah." The boardwalk looked beautiful. While the children were screaming in the amusement park, the water was calm and rolling onto the shore elegantly. I look a photo with my phone and put my elbows in my hands leaning on the fence. I never knew New York was so beautiful.

Lin's voice came closer as he wrapped his arm around me.
"Ready to go, mi amor?"

"Yeah! Let's go!!" I grabbed Lin's hand and ran to the amusement park area.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." Lin said huffing some short distance behind me.

"I don't care how much you dance onstage, but you," I said pointing a finger at his chest, "need to get in shape." I giggled.

"Anyways," Lin said trying to catch his breath, "let's go!"

He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the line for the Ferris wheel.

"Uh, uh," I said shaking my head, "that's for the end of the day." I said pointing at the ride.

Lin nodded his head with a smile and lead me in the direction of a carousel.
"Is this good enough?" He asked.

"Oh yeah, definitely." I said giving him a smirk.

Lin payed he woman enough for two tickets and the gate opened.

"I DIBS THE PINK UNICORN!" I yelled as I ran up to the cute little guy.

"You're name is Darius, okay?" I said pulling myself up to sit on him.

"But that's a pink unico-" a woman interrupted my bonding session with Darius.

"Ma'am, no gender roles please?" I said giving Darius a pat.

The woman glared at me and Lin let out a chuckle.
"Now this is why I like you." He said mounting his blue horse.

"You like me just because I like Darius?" I eyed Lin.
"Not because of my mediocre looks? Because of my amazing singing?"

I sung a nasally version of Ke$ha's Let it blow.

Lin let out another chuckle and pointed his fist up and chanted:
"ONWARDS MOLLY!" He gave his horse a pat and the carousels began to circle around.

The rest of the day was spent like this, the both of us fooling around and having fun together.

The sun was setting and the line up to the Ferris wheel was getting longer so we decided to line up.

"Oh my gosh! Are you Lin- Manuel Miranda?!" A girl squealed.

Lin and I turned around to see a girl my age practically jumping out of her skin.

"Yep! That's me! And this is Keira, my foster daughter. But please don't tell anyone yet." Lin smiled putting his arm around me.

"Nice to meet you Keira!" The girl said smiling.

"I'm Penny, by the way. Can I get a picture with the both of you?" She said handing her phone over the her friend waiting with her.

"Sure." I blushed.

Penny got in between us, and snapped a photo with all of us and one of each of us.

"Hey, what school do you go to?" I asked.

"Oh! I go to Hunter, how about you?" He said putting her phone into her pocket.

"Oh, I don't know yet, just wondering." I smiled.

The line moved quickly and soon enough me and Lin were up.

"Nice meeting you!" Lin said waving back to her, and we boarded the Ferris wheel.

A couple minutes went by in silence until we reached the top. I looked out: the lights from the boardwalk shined like little dots along the water, the harbour was busy but the noise was distant, the water calm as always. I smiled, I never knew this side of New York. The ride started up and again and we began our descent. I sat back against my set, Lin with his arm around me and the ride was over.

Lin and I walked back to the car prizes and souvenirs in hand and drove back in silence. It wasn't a bad silence. A nice one that didn't need to be broken.

We soon arrived to a calmly lit apartment with Sebastian asleep and Vanessa sipping her tea on the kitchen island.

"How'd it go?" She asked taking our bags from us and setting them on the coach.

"Fun." I smiled with a yawn.

"Looks like somebody needs to get to bed." Lin said.

"Go brush your teeth & hair and get changed I'll meet you in bed." Said Lin as he brushed pass me to give Vanessa a kiss on the cheek.

"Got it." I said pointing finger guns at him while I grabbed my bag of loot which consisted of a pink teddy bear, picture of Lin and I on a rollercoaster (I looked like I was giving birth, eyes squeezed shut, screaming and clenching onto Lin's hand.) and a purple sweatshirt with the boardwalks logo.

Sooner or later I'm in bed anxiously waiting my for Lin to come and join me.

"Linnnnn!" I yell while fiddling with the covers.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." He says running down the hallway just managing to put his Mario Kart pyjama shirt on.

"Ah, there you are." I said smirking as I scooted over in bed to make room for Lin.

"Yes, I am well aware of that," He said raising an eyebrow. "next time, just don't yell, Seb is tryinng to sleep."

"Oops, sorry!"

"No problem, niña." He said as he joined me in bed.

"So, did you have fun today?"  He asked.

"Oh, yes, of course!"

"I'm happy you did, I really am."

After 10 minutes of talking to Lin, my eyelids started to droop. I kicked Lin out of bed and huddled underneath the cover. He kissed my forehead and left.

Lin's POV

The door closed behind me and my phone opened up. I tapped on the Twitter app and typed a message

@Lin_Manuel: for the past week me and @VAMNit have let a wonderful 14 year old into our home. We have decided to foster this girl. I have attached a picture of her below. Please treat her kindly, she is new to the hamilfam.

(The rules of Seb on social media will not be given to her, her face will be shown, just a nice pic)

I attached the picture of Keira looking out of the boardwalk from the Ferris wheel, tweeted it, and went to bed.

AYE!!!!! I'm back and so is my Hamilton book!1!!2 I came on Monday and I forgot to tell u guys so oops? And some bad news coming up with that- IM GETTING BRACES IN 6-8 MONTHS SKKSKSKSKSKSKE HELP.
