-Killua's POV-
Alluka, Y/N, and I ended up sharing a room, which I was perfectly fine with. Alluka offered to sleep on the couch that was in our room so Y/N and I took the bed. I was staring at the ceiling, I knew both of us were awake and suddenly there was a HUGE clap of thunder 'didn't know it was supposed to storm' right when the thunder clapped Y/N flinched then grabbed my arm and clung to it. "Y/N, what's up? Are you scared of thunder?" I whispered.

"N-no it's just if I'm spacing out or am in a very quite area and hear a loud noise or a voice I wasn't expecting I get really freaked..."

"Oh... well you'll be alright.

"You're really warm~" she says softly.

I blush a pale pink color. I continue staring at the ceiling and thinking about Y/N. Leorio was talking to me earlier and said I should just confess. He said there's a chance she'll say she loves me back and that it would be better to be rejected than to die not knowing. I didn't know how he knew I liked her. He seemed like he shipped us though. Then I noticed Y/N was still on my arm. When had she fallen asleep? Why didn't she let go? Was it because she was scared? Or was it because I was warm? Then there was another loud boom. The girl opened her eyes and looked at me. I. blushed bright red because she was awake now. At least she couldn't see me. Then there was bright lightning. Shit.

"Killua are you blushing?"

"N-nuh."

"Don't lie, please."

Her voice so soft and cute. "O-okay I am." Shit why, Killua, why?!

"Do want me to let go?"

"No! I mean yes! I mean...."

"Which one?"

"No."

"Okay goodnight."

"I love you," I whispered, but she was already asleep. As much as I hated to admit it, even to myself, I loved the way she was clinging onto me. It made me feel like I protected her.
