Only know you love her when you let her go
"I love you," she repeated, over and over again as she kissed me. i smiled, hoping she'd ignore the fact i didn't say it back.
The bell rang, and she sighed in defeat. pouting, she kissed my lips; pulling away as quick as she could.
"See you later, babe."
Then she ran off to the ends of the hallway, turning a left; leaving me alone in the hallway we were in.
"Is she worth it?" a new voice distracted me. i shut my eyes, not wanting to turn around.
"Worth what?"
"Is she worth hurting me?"
I turned around then, the hurt clear in her eyes. i tried to say something but instead she shook her head, turning at her heel and leaving me alone.
My shoulders slumped as i watched her walk away. why did i let her go?
