Cami was completely different as a vampire, a bitch that stole a little wooden horse made of white oak from the Originals, the only thing that could kill them. She had stolen it because Klaus had the dark objects left to her by Kieran and wouldn't give them back.

In the lycee at the cemetery, I was in the middle of casting a spell on a stone table that had various bones and a circle made of white sand, pouring, chanting. "Kou le vous a te vas se tu." Cami was nearby, pacing. "Kou le vous a te vas se tu."

Cami walked closer. "How's it going in here?"

I sighed. "We're cloaked... For now. But, I can sense somebody searching for you, and my guess is its Freya Mikaelson." I was anxious about this entire situation, a little stressed out. "I guess that's what happens when you steal the one thing that can kill her entire family."

Cami looked at the small wooden toy made out of white oak in her hands. "I wouldn't have taken it if Klaus hadn't confiscated my dark objects. So technically, this is his fault."

I stood, walking closer. "You try explaining that to them."

Cami sighed. "I have it all worked out. You put up a boundary spell Klaus can't enter. If he wants what's his, then he'll give me back what's mine."

"Those dark objects were made by New Orleans witches,"  I told her. "I want them back just as much as you do."

"Good," Cami told me. "Then I chose the right partner."

I was frustrated by her behavior. "Cami, you gotta see the mess you're in. You jacked the one weapon that can kill the most powerful vampires in the world." I gestured at her dramatically for emphasis. "You've got a target on your back."

Cami rolled her eyes. "Klaus wouldn't hurt me."

"Klaus is not the only one that's gonna come looking for the white oak," I told her in exasperation.

Cami did seem to be concerned, but did her best to cover it up. "Then let's get this over with." I opened my mouth to argue, but Cami cut me off sharply. "Auria!" I gave her a look. Cami closed her eyes, sighing, taking a moment to relax. "I'm sick of playing at a disadvantage. It's what got me killed." I turned away, rolling my eyes. Cami held up her phone. "I'm going to take your silence as a resounding agreement with my very reasonable plan." She started typing a message into her phone. "Now all I have to do is invite Klaus."

I turned to face her, walking closer seriously in concern. "Cami... are you sure you want to do this?"

Cami finished her text message, holding up the phone, dramatically hitting the send button with her thumb.

I was standing outside, leaning against the outside wall of one of the tombs.

Klaus walked closer with a briefcase in his hands."Ah, Auria." He turned down the aisle to approach me. "I should have known Camille would seek powerful witches to aid in this rather futile gambit. As I send you off to join your Ancestors, just know this is her fault."

Klaus lunged for me, but was promptly blocked by my boundary spell.

I was slightly smug but mostly worried and anxious about this entire situation. "I was hoping for a simple trade, but seeing as how everything you took can't possibly fit in that briefcase, I'm gonna go ahead and assume that 'simple' ain't exactly your style."

"Why don't you take down this barrier?" Klaus asked coldly. "I'll show you precisely what my style entails."

Cami walked out of the lycee to join us. "Seriously? I have an ancient, mystical weapon of doom, and instead of agreeing to my very fair trade, you're making threats."
