Chapter 1

Rydel's POV

Zac walked up to me and held me against the wall. I was so scared. He lifted the knife up and was about to stab me but he wasn't able to because...

"Ell!!!" I screamed. He knocked Zac to the ground!! He punched him again and again.

"Don't. EVER. Try. And. Hurt. MY. RYDEL. AGAIN!!!!!" He screamed with each punch.

He got off of him and punched him one more time for good measure. I ran over and hugged him so tight.

"He was going to kill me, Ell. I was so scared. H-he..." I cried into his shirt.

"It's ok your safe now, nothing can hurt you now. It's ok. I'm right here, I won't leave. I promise. I'm not going anywhere. Not right now. Not ever." He said.

I took deep breaths to try and stop crying. I finally stopped.

"But what about Riker and my dad?" I asked.

"I called the police the minute I saw that tarp thing over your house, and they took Hannah to the crazy house and took your dad to the hospital. He'll be ok! And I called the police when I saw him walking towards yo with a knife." He said. I felt so relieved, you have no idea.

"Thank you Ell. Thank you." I said.

"Anytime! I would never even hesitate to help my second family and girlfriend!" He said.

I smiled and looked up at him and he smiled back. I looked into his beautiful hazel green eyes and he looked into mine. And he kissed me. I put my arms around his neck and he put his arms around my waist. We kissed for a good minute or so! I broke away.

"I love you to the moon and back. Try and beat that!" I said.

"Well I love you to Pluto and back! Beat that!" He said.

"You got me!" I giggled.

It felt so good to laugh! He laughed with me. I started to hear sirens outside.

"Well I guess the police is here!" I said.

"Oh really! I had NO idea!" He said, making my laugh even harder.

We stopped laughing. I smiled at him and he smiled at me. He put his arm around my shoulders right as a police officer walked in.

~An Hour Later~

Me and Ell are in the hospital waiting room with the rest of my family. We were waiting for my dad to wake up. He is going to recover 100%!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I'm soooooooooooooo freakin happy!!!!!!!!!! Me and Ell were playing Rock Paper Scissors! Yeah! We're playing an adult game! Lol!

"Rock paper scissors!" We both said.

"Ha! I beat you again! Me 15 you 0!!! Oh yeah!" I said.

"I'm letting you win!" He said.

"Suuuure you are! Mister, that's not fair! And, cheater!" I laughed.

"Whatcha guys doin?" Riss asked, walking over with Rocky, Riker and Ryland trailing behind him.

"What does it look like doofus!" I said.

"Riiiiiiiight!!" He said.

I started laughing again! In about 2.8 seconds all of us were laughing our heads off! Even my mom who was sitting next to me! A nurse walked out.

"Lynch family?" She said. We all stood up.

"Mr. Mark Lynch is awake if you would like to come and see him!" She said.

"Of course we would!" Me, my brother and Ell yelled! It's like Ell is just another brother who just so happens to be my boyfriend!

"Follow me!" She said.

We followed her through the double doors. She led us down a TON of hallways until she stopped in front of a door.

"Are you ready to see your dad?" She asked.

"Yes!" We said. She opened the door.

"Daddy!" We all yelled.
