Rydel’s POV
Tears were streaming down my face.
“W-what?” He said getting up from his one knee and closing the little box. Tears were brimming his eyes.
“I-I’m sorry. I’m just not ready to get married.” I said.
I ran out of the room and out of the hospital doors. Someone grabbed my wrist and spun me around.
“It’s more than that! Rydel I know it’s more than just that!” He started to yell.
“No it’s not!” I yelled.
“Rydel tell me!”
“No!”
"Please!”
“No!”
"Why!?”
“I just can’t!”
“Why!?”
“I just can’t ok!”
“Rydel!” He yelled even louder.
“Ellington!” I yelled even louder too.
“Please just tell me!”
“NO!” I yelled.
I yanked my wrist out of his grip and started running off.
“RYDEL!” He screamed. I stopped and turned.
“WHAT ELLINGTON LEE RATLIFF!? WHAT!?”
I NEVER used his full name.
“I’M SORRY I JUST WOULD LIKE TO KNOW!”
“WHY DO YOU WANT TO KNOW SO BAD!?”
“PLEASE JUST TELL ME! I PROMISE I WON’T TELL ANYONE!”
“ELLINGTON NO!”
“RYDEL!”
“ME AND ZAC WERE MARRIED OK! I’M NOT GONNA MARRY YOU BECAUSE YOU KNOW HOW BADLY THAT MARRIAGE ENDED! I’M SORRY I WON’T MARRY YOU! I’M JUST NOT READY YET!” I screamed.
His eyes were wide.
“What?” He asked.
“You heard me correctly. We were married.”
