"What the hell, what?" Jordan sent back. I explained the whole situation to him with a fear that he would be afraid to come to work or even worse, not want to be my friend let alone be in a relationship with me. "I wouldn't date you....jkjkjk. I mean I would.. If you liked me, but that isn't the case."

HE PRACTICALLY ASKED YOU OUT. My best friend obviously got the hint before I did. I asked him what was the case in our situation and of course it was if I had feelings for him or not. He mentioned how we still worked together so we couldn't, and before I knew it, I was telling him that it was my last day. "Yeah, I mean I would like to date you, but you don't like me." THAT WAS IT. IT WAS ALL TOO CLEAR BUT IT STILL FLEW OVER MY HEAD. Jordan quickly changed the subject and asked if I was still at work but I had already left because I was scared of confrontation. I started freaking out and talked to my best friend about it and she basically said that he likes me and wants to go out with me. She probably said that a couple times before I finally realized that the guy I liked, actually liked me back. To this day, Jordan thanks her for making me realize how stupid I was. I spent time trying to find a way that I could bring back the conversation with him so I could tell him that I felt the same way but I chickened out and dropped it. We still had plans to hang out that Wednesday.
