Louis decides to call back Harry.
"Hey babe, you free tomorrow?" Harry asks and Louis frowns.
"No, actually. I'm not." Louis replies with a sigh.
"What, why not?" Harry asks, sounding a little bit like a child.
"I have plans, I'm not really sure when they're happening yet, maybe around lunchtime." Louis says, glancing at his computer, he begins to look through his emails.
"What are these plans, if you don't mind me asking?" Harry asks as Louis reads over an email sent to everyone from his boss.
"They're um..." Louis talks distractedly "...I'm going out with someone."
"Out? Out with someone? Like, out, out. You're leaving your house?"
"Coffee." Louis murmurs glancing over the numbers and book sells and what-not.
"Coffee..." Harry repeats to himself. "Coffee? Are you going with Zayn?" Harry couldn't believe Louis had already worked out a date with him.
Louis was done with the email now and leant back in his chair. "No actually it isn't with Zayn, it's actually kind of funny, um-"
"I have to go." Harry hangs up a second after, not even allowing Louis to say goodbye.
"I'm going with this girl Gigi, she thinks I'm straight, ha ha, funny." Louis says to no one, setting his phone down with a sigh.
Harry paces around his house, teeth digging into his lip as he walks from the living room to the kitchen, back to the living room. He'd been really looking forward to Friday, he really didn't know why this pissed him off so much, maybe it was because he wasn't gonna get any action tomorrow, yeah that was probably it.
Harry sat down on his couch and then popped back up again. He grabbed his jacket and then left through the front door.
Louis did not want to see Gigi after work, he didn't want to plan a coffee date with her and he didn't want to tell her, he was gay. Louis kind of wished she liked Zayn right now.
When four o'clock came around, Louis headed downstairs, a lump in his throat. When he got to the lobby he looked over at Eleanor "I don't want to get coffee with Gigi."
"Tell her you're gay or if she's not into you like that, just tell her you don't want to go." Eleanor shrugs.
"B-but that's mean." Louis says and Eleanor rolls her eyes.
"Then go, Lou."
"But I don't wanna."
"I don't know how to help you!"
Louis groans and leans against the front desk. When the elevator dings and Louis hears the sound of heels against the floor he stands up straight quickly.
"Hi Louis." Gigi smiles when she sees Louis.
"H-hi." Louis clears his throat and tries to smile.
"So about Friday, is about 12 okay? I know this really cute coffee place we could go to and then maybe we could go to a park or something?" Gig suggests and Louis nods with a pained smile.
This all sounded terrible because it would be awkward, first Louis isn't sure if she just wants to be friends and second Louis is horrible at making conversation.
