Tikel's pov
We were still dealing with the aggron's iron projectile onslaught and not getting very far in being able to actually strike a blow to him.
"Hahahaha pitiful!" The aggron let out a metallic roar and all we could really do is dodge the projectiles flying at us. As i dodged another block i saw kian get slammed into a wall by one. "Kian!" Liger yelled and now was having to deal iron columns trying to squish him.
It was now up to liger and i to win this battle as both ameta and kian were now unconscious from what i assume was the blunt force trauma. 'We need a plan.' I telepathically told liger and he nodded then smashed another of the pillars. 'Yeah but how do we do that?' Liger asked and i had to think on the fly for this strategy.
I witnessed something as i looked back on this battle. 'There is a rythem! All these blocks and traps trigger on his steps so there is a certain rythem to this.' I told liger and he smirked. 'Meaning we memorize the rythem he cant hit us?' Liger asked and i gave him an ever so slight nod.
The aggron let out a metallic roar again but as i saw it didnt do anything. 'His roars start the traps then his steps keep the rythem of the traps running.' I thought and i now knew how to handle this fight.
I spread my wings and while one of my wings was still damaged i was capable enough to use psychic and grasp the aggron which made it so he couldnt stomp anymore. "Damn you! You couldnt of figured it out!" The aggron yelled but i smirked and now the traps were not triggering anymore although even though i had the aggron in my grip he struggled and also let out a sound that was ear lobe shattering.
"I hope you dont think this is all!" The aggron screeched out and after doing so tiles behind him started opening up and released some sort of metal coloured liquid. "Now time to end this... with the iron lacrama's power i can produce quite the trap." He said and as the liquid dripped i saw what it was doing.
"Its mercury!" I cawed out to liger. "Grab ameta and get her away from that wall!" I ordered liger and he ran towards ameta and as he did, ameta started to wake up. "Huhhh how did i end up here?" Ameta asked but liger grabbed her. "Talk later move now." Liger said and ran towards this side of the cube space.
The mercury encroached slowly on us but with each droplet it got closer and closer. "You cant win this battle so die while you still can see your enemy!" The aggron roared and even in my psychic grip he managed to just move an arm and charge up a flash cannon.
Ameta didnt look like she could stand this attack but even so i knew if i dodged to block it from hitting ameta it will release the aggron which means he could make it worse for us.
"Say goodbye." The aggron laughed and launched the bright steel like attack at us however as it encroached upon ameta i saw a green lightning strike the attack and desperse of it. "I wont allow you to hurt her again!" Liger yelled and he had quite the glare showing.
The aggron looked shocked but due to my grip on him starting to fade he also smirked. "I guess you are strong but i wont lose." The aggron declared and then within a momentary pause he seemed to lock up. 'The mercury effects him too.' I thought and with the last of my energy i attempted to push him into the mercury more but i had failed in my attempt.
"So you figured it would be that simple? Well i wont fall that easily!" The aggron roared and at this point i was drained of energy and was incapable of handling an attack but as if from a story i had gotten saved by kian as he used close combat on the aggron. "I wont ever let you harm tikel oh and when you fight an opponent you dont take your eyes off them." Kian cawed and struck the aggron again and sent him into what was now a puddle of mercury.
