Tikel's pov
The doorway opened for us and there was a massive room and on the opposite side to us was where the adamant orb was located. "Well lets go." Liger said and after the initial waking of zinnia we moved forward and into the room.
The room begun to glow an odd colour and then something large arose from the ground. "I am the final guard! The great Bahamut!" The salamence declared in a proud tone. "You wont ever gain the adamant orb!"
I looked at bahamut and while zinnia looked scared, the rest of us were ready for this fight. "Its the final step and now we have an extra ally. We can not waver now! Lets do this and get the adamant orb!" I declared bravely and it was from that moment that i realised what this all was for.
'Thank you lord dialga. Soon you will have your power.' I thought and smiled. "Well now you are determined. I hadnt seen that in my opposition before... i will make sure your deaths will be satisfying." Bahamut said and roared.
The room became larger and then a thin smoke spread around the floor. "An arena fitting for a final challenge." Bahamut stated then the room changed even more, the space peeled away and became a large arena space.
"This is my den. This space is also your grave." Bahamut roared.
"Crap we dont have a hope in hell." Zinnia said with a shiver but i looked at him. "Be brave zinnia. Just like in the desert when we had to deal with those bandits." I told zinnia and he gulped. "O-okay tikel." Zinnia said and although i had noticed a blush showing on his face.
Ameta and kian both looked ready for the fight and liger was already charging his electricity. "Well now lets get started." Bahamut declared and then after doing so he sped towards us using what i assumed to be giga impact.
"Avoid it!" I commanded and the others moved out of the way but as he got closer to hitting me i realised i didnt have time to dodge it.
I felt as though i could of been done for but i saw a darkness get in front of me and from that i saw it was zinnia taking the giga impact. "Hey dont forget tikel that if the treasure is too far in that dune you have to be careful getting it back." Zinnia coughed.
"Zinnia!" Ameta yelled out and tried to strike bahamut but he moved faster than ameta's punch.
Zinnia's arms were bleeding from the block and he was coughing up blood as well. "The price id paid for gaining more power from the hellish lacrama... all guards are meant to die for the lacrama to change possetion but for me it was different." Zinnia explained and then coughed more.
"I in essence was the hellish lacrama. Id become sentient from it." Zinnia said still coughing more blood up.
At this moment of revalation, ameta and kian and liger were all facing bahamut. "I dont have much time before i become part of the lacrama again. Im sorry..." zinnia said with his final breath and then he became a dark energy then disappeared.
"Zinnia." I said and felt sad in a way and judging by how ameta looked she also felt sadness. "Well now zinnia returned to where he belonged... good and now its time to end you all." Bahamut declared and it was at that point i walked forward and glanced at bahamut.
"You are the final guard. You are going to be ended for this has dragged on long enough. Time for this moment and for your demise has arisen." I declared and the others looked taken aback by this.
Bahamut simply laughed and touched a stone he had. "Now that is one mighty declaration." Bahamut smirked and then a purple energy formed around him. "But it wont save you from my true wrath!" Bahamut roared and as the energy wore down id noticed that bahamut was now above the ground and also had a single large crescent moon wing.
"He went mega!" Liger exclamed in a worried tone. "This might be a problem."
Ameta didnt look as worried as liger but it was evident we were probably outclassed on this. "We cant give in now though." I stated and both ameta and kian nodded while liger had used his green electric attack and by surprise was able to put bahamut in a static state.
I raised my wing up and made purple energized stones surround the paralyzed bahamut and then strike him. "Gah you maggot!" Bahamut roared and the paralysis wore off and he made some sort of chant then from that chant a hole opened in the sky, from which a large meteor fell towards us.
Ameta grasped her mega stone and key stone so to mega evolve. Ameta was surrounded with a purple energy and from that she then mega evolved. "Now it is time... to strike back!" Ameta declared and then wrapped her dark aura around herself as she charged up all the energy she could muster.
The meteor was getting closer and closer to us. The danger was setting in and bahamut could tell he had us in a tough situation. "Now you are done. Any last words?" Bahamut asked egotistically.
Ameta seemed to of finished charging her energy and had used a dark aura hyperbeam on the draco meteor. The meteor cracked and shattered from the atrack but after it broke apart, ameta fainted from massive amount of energy she had used up to save us.
Bahamut had a stunned look. "W-what!" Bahamut roared in shock and as he wasnt paying attention, kian flew towards bahamut and used brave bird and liger also struck bahamut and wound up using a volley of thunder punches.
After this onslaught i had noticed that bahamut, even though he hadnt given up, had become rather injured to the extent that he had become shaky. "I cant... i cant die here!" Bahamut roared and launched forward using, probably, all the energy he had left.
"Giga impact, this time however i will make sure you fail!" I declared and used psychic in order to grab him with much more force.
I was able to grab bahamut but i knew his power would break out soon so instead of keeping my grasp on bahamut i decided to redirect him into one of the arena walls.
Bahamut struck into the wall with such force that is made that whole wall fall upon him. The arena shifted to become the room we were in before and all looked rather tired and ameta was still unconscious but still we made it through all the challenges.
"We did it! We accomplished the goal!" Liger cheered and kian cawed. "Yeah and it was thanks to you all that it happened." I told liger and kian.
Both kian and liger smiled cheerfully and then we rushed to the still passed out ameta. "She put alot of effort into that attack. It shows she cares about us alot." Liger smiled. "It gives you a tingly feeling you know." Liger looked at me kindly before giving his wife a kiss.
Kian flipped his comb and moved closer to me and i, honestly, felt very different as he did this. "Kian thank you." I said in a way that left me baffled but all kian did was blush a little.
"Well you are welcome tikel." Kian told me as we sat in order to rest for the battle is over now and my goal is now more in reach than it was before.
Hours passed by as we relaxed and awaited ameta to wake up and sure enough after who knows how long, ameta started to wake up and smiled. "Hey is that bahamut jerk gone?" Ameta asked in a quiet tone.
Liger nodded. "Yeah he is gone. Tikel made him hit a wall and the wall fell on him." Liger explained to ameta and then ameta raised her paw and made a sort of thumbs up towards me.
"Great work tikel. Showing you have major skills." Ameta smiled and started to get up. "Well lets get that adamant orb and complete this quest. I wanna get home and see my son again." Ameta smiled and liger nodded to show he agreed with how ameta felt.
I nodded then stood, kian shortly followed after he awoke from his nap. "Lets do this." Kian sounded glad as we approached the pedestal that the adamant orb was set on.
'Here we go lord dialga. Your treasure will return to you and then i shall join you in that prosperous heaven.' I thought and then grabbed the adamant orb but after doing so the room glowed.
"Its just like after we grabbed the lacrama's!" Liger exclaimed and with how the others felt, i myself also felt confused.
'What is going on? What could possibly happen next!' I exclaimed in my mind as i felt worried for what sort of thing awaits.
