03 | Sweet Dreams, Blondie
Breakfast with Liam was great and my stomach was full of pancakes, but I had this anxious feeling in my stomach because I wanted to go home today to sort out this mess.
"Want me to drive you home?" Liam asked with a small smile on his face.
I nodded slowly and he put his finger under my chin and tilted my head up, letting my eyes meet his.
"Everything will be fine...." he whispers gently as a tear slides down my cheek and he swiftly wipes it away with his thumb. He leaned down and placed a kiss on my forehead and I grinned in happiness.
"Can we just go and get this done with?" I ask
"Your wish is my command." He yells as he unlocks the car and begins to drive to my house.
When we arrive on my driveway, I get out of the car and just before I open the front door of the house, I look back at Liam and he mouths the words "I love you."
I do the same to him and then open the door.
I walk inside and it's dark.
"Hello?" I shout and I listen for a reply but I only hear the echo of my own voice.
Why is no one home at 11am?
I walk around the house checking every room.
I see a light shining through Alison's room and I grow more curios as I begin to approach it.
I open the door slowly and walk in to see it empty still. I hear someone grunt from the bathroom and then the bathroom door opens.
"Alison?" Both of us say.
Huh, so if the other person thinks that I'm Alison, then they're not Alison so that means that the person coming out from the shower is-
And there he is, Luke.
"Sophie?" He questions with a confused look on his face.
I cover my eyes as he is only wearing a towel which was hanging very loosely on his hips. His blonde hair was no longer quiffed, but instead was a wet sloppy mess and his body was dripping with water droplets.
"I'm wearing a towel." He chuckled and I pulled my hands away and lightly blushed.
"Anyways... where's Alison?" I ask with a sheepish grin on my face.
"You tell me." He scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"My parents?" I ask again.
"They said they went out to go get food."
I sigh in sadness.
"What's wrong?" He asks with sympathy painted on his face.
"A lot happened yesterday and today and I feel like I'm all alone inside of this broken home." I whimpered softly and Luke's eyes became deep and sympathetic.
"I get exactly how you feel. My two brothers were a pain in the ass some times!" He joked, trying to lighten the mood but it only made me cry more.
"Oh my god Sophie, I'm so sorry- I never meant to-"
"Luke, it's okay. I'm gonna go so you can get changed and wait for Alison!" I mutter as I leave Alison's bedroom and wander back to my own.
