I woke up with Liam's arm resting on my waist and his head buried in my neck. A small smile curved on my lips and I snuggled in even closer to him if it was at all possible.

His lips placed a small kiss on my forehead.

"Could you get any closer to me?" He chuckled and I roll over so that I'm face to face with him.

"I could try." I suggested and he shook his head as he laughed.

"You are something different, you know that Sophie?"

"I don't know what you mean by that, but I'll take it as a compliment." I smiled as he pulled me in tighter to a hug.

"Wanna go get some breakfast?" He suggested as he let go of me and I frowned at the loss of connection.

"I have nothing to wear..."

"You want one of my hoodies? I can raid my sister's closet for some skinny jeans if you want." He suggests and I nod my head with a toothy grin because he knows me so well.

He walks out of his room to go fetch me something to wear and he comes back with some black skinny jeans and his hoodie. He hands me the clothes and raises his eyebrows as I smell his hoodie.

"Wow, creep much!" He laughs as I blush deeply.

"Sorry Liam, it just smells of you." I laugh trying to cover my red cheeks.

He stands in front of me and he stares deeply into my eyes with a smile on his face.

"I-I need to g-get changed. Turn around..." I whisper quietly whilst stuttering a little.

He turned around so that his back was to me and I pulled the white T-shirt from yesterday off until it gets stuck on my head.

I fidget and try to get it off but end up giving up.

"Right, Liam I need you're help. Keep your eyes closed but come over here and help me please. My Shirt is stuck on my head." I plead and pout.

I hear him chuckle lowly as he tried to walk to me without falling over.

Once he's in front of me, he places his hands on the shirt and gently pulls it above me so that I can see.

But the only thing I see is Liam's deep chocolate eyes.

"Sorry Sophie, I just couldn't help myself," he whispers lowly.

He leans in slowly and my heart races as I close my eyes.

Did I really want to do this? Liam has been my best friend for most of my life and would kissing him ruin it?

Before I can finish my thoughts, his lips are gently but passionately pressed against mine and my breath hitched whilst I froze.

When he felt my body turn rigid he pulls away swiftly as his face is deeply blushed and he scratches the back of his neck awkwardly.

"I-I'm really sorry Sophie, it just felt-"

"Completely normal." We both breathed out and he looked at me confused.

"Wait, if it felt normal then why did you freeze?"

"I don't know, I just didn't expect my first kiss to be with my best friend." I tried to joke but sympathy and regret filled his eyes.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know that was your first kiss I'm such an idiot. I took advantage that your upset and an emotional mess." He looked down at the floor in regret but something inside me ignited and electricity pumped through my veins.

I ran forward a little and jumped wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms snaking around his neck as he caught me.

I connected our lips with force and we kissed with such passion and lust, our lips moving beautifully in sync.

I started to become short of breath and pulled away as he put me back down on the floor and embraced me tightly.

"You have no idea how long I've wanted this." He whispers as I smile into his chest.

"Wait, what does this make us?"

"Well, um.... Sophie I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend, but I understand if you don't want-"

I cut him off by going on my tip toes and pecking his lips.

"I would love to be your girlfriend Liam." I exclaim as I hug him whilst laughing in happiness.

"I love you." He says quietly.

Now that was something I was definitely going to have to get used to hearing and saying.

"I love you too."

"Breakfast?"

"Yeah, but I think you should get changed and I need to try and get ready by myself without getting tangled up this time." I chuckle and he laughs with me.

"I'll be in the bathroom." He says as he walks out of the room and closes the door behind him.

I sigh with a grin on my face.

Me and my best friend just kissed.

And I loved every bit of it.
