30 | They're So Freaking Hot
Sophie's POV
The dinner ran smoothly and luckily I managed not to throw up again - despite feeling nauseous when my manager was presented with seafood, which I normally love. We managed to have numerous conversations and enjoy our meals without me having to be excused, which I was extremely grateful for.
We left the restaurant about an hour ago and we've been sat in our hotel room for about half an hour, both of us now in our pyjamas with a cup of coffee beside our beds.
Luke places his head into the hollow of my neck as he snuggles closer to me in the bed, his warm arm wrapped around my stomach. I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me feel less unwell.
Truth was, I don't think I am nervous for the show - I have no idea what is wrong with me, and that's what makes me nervous.
"What's on your mind?" Luke whispers softly as I shake a little.
"That tomorrow won't run smoothly cause I'm sick." I admit truthfully and he just sighs deeply.
"I'm sure after a good nights sleep you'll be feeling a lot better. Just try to get some shut eye." He kisses my cheek and pulls me in closer to his body, my stomach flipping as he does so.
I reach over to my nightstand and finish my coffee before switching off the lamp and laying back down.
My eyes flutter close and I mange to sleep lightly, being woken up every now and then feeling constantly sick and tired. Why do I feel like this tour is already going to be a freaking disaster?
❁❁❁❁❁
The morning came by slower than it usually does due to the fact that I barely slept, leaving me a yawning mess when Luke woke me up with some breakfast, water and some anti sickness for me to take.
I gulped down the chalky tablets with the cold liquid and gagged a little as they scratched my throat on the way down.
"How are you feeling this morning?"
"I'm feeling a lot better thank you," I lie through my teeth, feeling even worse when I do.
I stretch my aching limbs a little before standing up and walking to the shower, leaving my breakfast because of how unwell I feel - I lie again and just say I'm not hungry.
I hop in the shower and let my tense muscles relax as the hot beads of water roll down my body and scrub it with some bubble-gum body wash, it's my favourite.
I step out the shower and grab my towel off the side, wrapping it around my small body and flipping my head upside down to dry my long, blonde hair a little bit.
I take a sharp breath and then walk out of the shower room to see Luke casually walking round the hotel room frantically in a pair of black Calvin Klein boxers.
"Have you seen my phone, babe?" He asks worriedly and I just chuckle at his stupidity.
"Luke, it's literally on the bed." I laugh and he just sighs and grabs it, holding it like a baby. I giggle at the thought of how protective he is over everything.
