I know what your thinking: "This ship is twisted and horrible!" And my reply is: "Why yes, yes it is." I know it's another songfic, but whatever. IT FITS, OKAY!? Plus, this one will be sad... Btw, includes character death, swearing, yadada.

Rythian lay crouched in the corner, blood patterning his clothing in its crimson wake. His chocolate brown hair matted, his skin torn, cracked, bleeding. The coldness of the concrete floor send painful shivers up his spine, and despite the warmth of his cloak, Rythian still felt like he was an ice cube.

His head pounded, and tears stained his cheeks. Memories stung his mind, trapping him in the melancholy of death and destruction. The faces of everyone flashed in his mind, the faces of his only friends, the people that helped him through everything, despite how horrid it was.

The war was over. But in the battle between the mage, the scientist and the farmer, many had died. Their blood was the ones staining Rythian's clothes. He didn't want to lose control, but Sjin had done something unforgivable. Something that could only be re payed with his death.Rythian remembered it all too clearly.

~Flashback~

Zoey charging at Sjin, her robotic arm set to plasma mode. Rythian's own shouts to Zoey were washed out, as the entire world seemed to run in slow-motion. Sjin grabbing a mining laser, setting it to long distance. Rythian's pleads, his screams to Sjin and Zoey. And a shock of horror.

The burning red laser flew through the air, and hit the only thing Rythian cared about. Zoey's body fell lifeless to the ground, a gaping hole in her chest, blood spewing from the wound. Rythian sped to her body, which was sprawled out like a rag doll, her limbs sticking out at odd angles.

Rythian screamed, tears running down his face as he cast a million and one spells to try and revive Zoey. Sjin stood in the background, hands clamped over his face in horror. He didn't mean to shoot her in her heart, only in her leg to slow her down... Sjin prevented himself from crying, took a deep breath and approached Rythian.

Zoey was dead because of Sjin. The words were the only thing that lay in Rythian's head. The mage's eyes glowed a dark indigo, small violet swirls scattered across them. He turned to Rythian, a thick glare on his face. His anger had been to much... The ender was taking over.

"SJIN YOU BASTARD!" Rythian screamed, before attacking the farmer. Rythian grabbed his Katar, and showed no signs of giving mercy. Sjin tried to beg, but the Katar was firmly on his throat, blood trickling down from his tanned skin.

The last thing Sjin saw before his throat was slit were the gleaming purple eyes of Rythian...

~Flashback over~

An ear piercing knock on the door interrupted Rythian's thoughts. Rythian clenched his teeth, covered his ears and wriggled his head into his knees, hoping to block out the noise. He didn't want to see anyone. He just wanted solitude. That's what a murderer deserved, right?

"Rythian... It's Duncan, please come out..." The sandy haired male spoke, as he stood outside Blackrock. It had been weeks since the war, and Rythian hadn't left the mansion. And despite his best efforts to not, Duncan knew he cared about the mage.

"I'm a monster, go away..." Rythian whispered, his voice cracking from lack of speech. Duncan's eyes became full of pity and sorrow.

"You're NOT a monster Rythian." Duncan shouted, hoping to knock some sense into the brunette. The blonde heard the turning of keys, before the door opened, revealing a messy Rythian. Duncan sighed, embracing the male.

"What happened, Ryth?" Duncan asked, quickly removing his hold on Rythian, blushing slightly. Rythian flinched at the removal of Duncan's warmth. It was something he hadn't felt in the weeks of being locked away. But was that all?

"I am a monster, Duncan. I'm a demon." Upon hearing this, Duncan slapped Rythian in the face, eyebrows furrowed. Rythian whimpered slightly, raising a hand to where the stinging was.

"You. Are. Not. A. Monster." Duncan said, gripping Rythian's shoulders roughly, his nails digging in. Rythian shook him off, looking at the floor.

"My eyes." Rythian muttered, staring at the concrete ground.

"Wh-What?" Duncan asked, looking at Rythian with an eyebrow raised. The mage looked straight into the scientist's azure eyes.

"Look at my eyes."

In the mages eyes, Duncan could see a deep purple that invaded his iris's, a swirl of silver that sped across the whites of his eyes. But what worried Duncan, was a splash of black in the corners. The black that was as deep as an Enderman's.

"Their coming back Duncan. I'm a demon, remember?" Rythian grunted, his eyes washed over with anger and sorrow. Duncan couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't take Rythian speaking of himself in such a way. So he let his mind go blank, and his heart take over.

As soon as his lips connected with Rythian's, a shock of pleasure ran down both of them. Duncan's lips were soft and invited, while Rythian's were cracked from lack of moisture, but they didn't care.

It was at this moment that Rythian flashed back to the times where he found himself staring at the scientist, but shaking it off. The time he caught Duncan shirtless and for an unknown reason couldn't keep his eyes off of the blonde.

Rythian loved Zoey, it was a fact. He loved her more than anything, but she was gone. He had gotten his revenge in a sick way, but it was good enough. It had been weeks, almost a month since the battle had ended.

And Rythian knew he would never get over Zoey's death, but with Duncan...

Maybe he could forget.
