Jared: thats my sister

Since Jared had turned he became good friends with Sam Ulley because they both understood how hard it was to have your world changed in a day.

Jared would quite often go to Sam's house with the other pack members but you were hardly there, Sam lived with Emily since he was an adult and made sure you were never there when the boys were because he didn't want you getting mixed into the difficult world of mythical creatures.

Today was different, you'd gone to Sam's to tell him that your mother wanted Sam and Emily to come round for food soon so you could all have "a family meal together."

When you arrived at Sam's house he wasn't there, it was just Emily and she was baking. You knew that Sam was a shapeshifter and knew what he had done to Emily so it didn't faze you to see the horrific scar on her face.

"Hey Hun." Emily said as you walked into the house. "Hey Emily, is Sam around?" You asked but Emily shook her head. "He won't be much longer, they're all probably getting hungry now." You sat down at the table. You didn't know who "they" were but you knew he trained other shape shifters and protected the lands with them.

Emily handed you a muffin. "Quick, get one before the boys get back." She chuckled. You happily gobbled the muffin, enjoying each bite.

Suddenly the back door swung open and the peaceful house was filled with laughter.

"Something smells good!" Jacob said walking in first. "Something looks good." Paul said walking in behind him and noticing you sat at the table.

"Y/N." Sam said with a smile on his face. "Hey-" you lost track of what you were supposed to say next when Jared walked in. You both stared at each other, totally lost in each others eyes as everyone around you seemed to disappear.

"Uh oh." Embry said looking at the two of you. Sam frowned and sighed. Jared was a good kid but Sam was hoping you'd have a normal life.

"I'm Jared." He said smiling at you. "Y/N," you said smiling back. "I've never met you before, I'd remember seeing you around here." He said looking you up and down.

"She's my little sister." Sam said putting his hand on Jareds shoulder and squeezing. "So keep your eyes and hands to yourself." He said causing Jared to look shocked.

The boys found this hilarious and began to laugh hysterically at their friends reaction.

"What was it you wanted Y/N?" Sam asked finally taking your eyes off Jared. "Oh right uh-" you thought for a moment. "Mom want you to come over for dinner soon." Sam nodded.

"I guess I'll be going." You said standing up. "Come round any time!" Emily said happily. "Yeah, guess we will be seeing a lot more of you now." Sam chuckled to himself.

You smiled at Jared before walking out of the house.

"No fair, why does Jared always get the hot ones?" Quil asked a little too loud. "What was that?" Sam said glaring at poor Quil.
