❗️slight trigger warning❗️

Depression, it seemed to seep into your body whenever you had a moment of silence, whenever you had a moment to yourself where you could do something as simple as reading a book or going for a walk, that's when it would hit you the hardest because you didn't have anything to keep you occupied.

As silly as it may sound, you used to think you'd never find someone that would love you, in fact you thought you'd never find someone you could love because you always felt so numb whenever you were around people, you would always have to paint on a fake smile...

But not with Jacob.

With him it was real, he filled you with hope and laughter, he filled you with a light that seemed to push away the darkness of the depression and show you that life was worth living and worth enjoying.

Today was a pretty bad day for you and the one person you wanted to see was busy tracking a vampire. You slumped under the covers of your room and tried to sleep but you knew it wouldn't work. Sometimes you felt like you were broken because nothing ever seemed to make this pain go away.

You ended up spending the whole day in bed with your bedroom door locked, refusing food. Jacob had come around at the end of the day but your mother explained that today was a bad day so he left.

You knew he wouldn't actually leave though and that's when you heard him stumble into your bedroom through your opened window. You felt your bed dip as Jacob climbed in with you and pulled you into his arms to cuddle.

"How are you feeling?" He asked to which you just buried your head into his chest, letting him know. "Have you had anything to eat?" He asked, you just shook your head and that's when Jacob picked you up.

"Jake what are you doing?" You asked as you shielded your eyes from the brightness of your light. "Taking you for food," he said as he walked over to the window. "I don't want food." You said sadly, you just wanted to go back to the safety of your bed.

"Well-" Jacob said before he jumped out of the window, still holding you. "That's too bad," he put you in his truck. "Because I'm starving and I hate eating alone," he said climbing in next to you. "So, it's either he both of us starve or you he my grave girl and eat something with me!" He said with a sweet smile.

You couldn't help but smile back at him as you felt the darkness drain from your body, being replaced by a love that only Jake was capable of giving to you. You were so grateful for him.
