Paul had gotten into a fight with a vampire recently, it was pretty bad, he got really scratched up so Sam had told him to rest up and once he had healed that he could go back on patrol duty. You weren't aware of Paul's double life, he decided not to tell you about him being a werewolf, he didn't want to worry you. Paul told you that he had a car accident and you believed him.

Sam was worried about Paul, all of the boys were so when Seth was on his way home from school he decided to go and see how his pack mate was doing by paying him a surprise visit.

You'd just gotten in, you threw your bag on the floor by the front door and walked into the living room to see Paul sat on the sofa, watching some TV. "How was school?" He asked with a smile. "Boring," you said walking over to him. "Are you hungry?" Paul nodded, he was starving.

Paul worried about you a lot. After your parents got a divorce you and Paul both moved away with your mother but she got a new job and sent you to live with your dad. You loved living with him but he worked a lot so it was always just you and Paul but after Paul phased he spent less and less time with you.

As you started to prepare dinner there was a knock at the door. You went to leave the kitchen to answer it but saw Paul already at the door so you returned to what you were originally doing.

"Hey Seth," Paul said with a smile. "What are you doing here?" He said letting the younger boy in. "I was just wondering how you're feeling?" Paul smiled at Seth. "I'm feeling fine," he said making Seth smile. "We caught the-" Paul shook his head and put his finger to his lips. "Y/N's home," Seth nodded for a moment before frowning, "That's your sister right?" Paul nodded. Seth had never met you before.

"Well we caught the blood sucker who did this to you," he whispered, Paul smiled. "Good." Was all he said before you came into the living room to give Paul a glass of water and some pain killers that didn't do anything to Paul due to him being a shapeshifter but Paul still took them to make you feel better.

Paul thanked you before motioning to Seth. "Y/N this is Seth, he's -" Paul thought of a lie quickly. "A friend," Seth cocked his eyebrow at Paul and gave him a look that said "is that the best you can think of?"

You turned to meet Seth and that's when your eyes met. Seth's friendly smile was washed off his face briefly as he stared at you, taking in every detail he could as if this would be the last time he saw you and he needed to know the ins and outs of you.

"Don't just stare at hi-" Paul was silenced when Seth abruptly stood to his feet and walked straight towards you. Paul frowned before standing up quickly, hurting himself in the process.

You were waiting to be engulfed in Seth's arms, it felt natural even though you'd never even met the boy before, but that's when Paul stood the middle of you. Seth was a strong kid, Paul was even stronger and with a nastier temper but if you, his imprint, was what he was fighting for then he'd take Sam on himself.

Seth frowned at Paul who had an unhappy look on his face. "She's your-" Seth nodded.
"Paul-" your brother turned to look at you. "I think dinners burning," Paul said making you run to the kitchen to try and salvage your dinner.

Seth frowned again, he didn't like Paul trying to stop you and him being together.
"Listen to me and listen good-" Paul said grabbing Seth by the scruff. Seth wanted to phase right then and there but it was clear you didn't know about shape shifters yet and he didn't want to scare you away.

"That's my little sister." Paul spat out, still holding onto Seth. "She is the sweetest, most innocent girl in the world and if you even think of treating her badly or hurting her-" Seth cut him off. "I could never do anything like that to her-" Seth had only just met you but he felt such a strong connection to you.

"I'll kill you if you so much as make her cry!" Paul said, his nostrils flaring as he threatened Seth. Your imprint just nodded. Paul sighed before letting Seth go. "Good luck then, make her happy." Paul said putting his hand on Seth's shoulder as he walked past him, back to the sofa.

Seth was shocked that Paul hadn't killed him already but he wasted no time and went into the kitchen to talk to you and get to know you.

Paul sat down on the sofa, "Hey Y/N, is it okay if Seth stays for dinner?" You nodded excitedly, you were so happy Paul wanted him to stay and Seth was thankful that Paul was giving him an excuse to spend more time with you.

It took a lot for Paul to accept Seth as your imprint because it meant that, in a way, you no longer needed your big brother. You didn't need Paul to protect you because Seth was there to do that now. You didn't need Paul to make you feel better when you had a bad day because that was Seth's job now and one day you would leave Paul's side to be by Seth's, to start a new life with him.

Paul smiled as he watched you in the kitchen, smiling and talking with Seth who was equally as happy as you were. Paul couldn't help but think of you as a little kid, learning how to walk with Paul holding your hand, learning how to ride a bike, with Paul giving you a push and then letting go of your seat so you could soar.

"Guess it's time to let go of your seat for good," he said to himself with a sad smile.
You'd always be his little sister, a nuisance and a pest, but now you had somebody there for you. Paul smiled, happy that you would no longer be alone.

This is by far my favourite one! Hell I think this may be my favourite chapter I've ever written! I've always liked the idea of Seth's imprint being Paul's little sister but this just makes me so happy! I wanted to show a vulnerable side to Paul and I feel like his little sister is the only person that could make him vulnerable!

I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
