How would people describe you? Many would say kind things, some would tell story's and a few would use some rather unkind words but nobody would describe you as a "girly girl, you weren't a fan of makeup or dresses and that was okay.
You walked into your house and kicked off your shoes, "I'm home Mam," you called, she quickly emerged from the kitchen with a smile on your face. "Hey sweetheart, you'll never guess what I got you today," she said excitedly.
"What?" You said returning the excitement. Your mother quickly ran back into the kitchen before coming back out with a long dress in her arms and a smile on her face. "What's that for?" You asked eyeing up the gown. "Your prom," she said.
You hated wearing a dress, you didn't even feel like going to prom but seeing how happy it made your mother- you just couldn't turn it down. You vented that night at Seth, you went on and on about how stupid you were going to look and like a good friend, he listened.
Eventually the day approached where you would have to wear the pretty dress that flowed down to your feet, it was gorgeous but it wasn't you. Your mother helped you into the dress before she pinned your hair up.
You didn't have a boyfriend to go to prom with neither did Seth, so the two of you decided to meet eachother a prom and spend the night having a laugh. When you walked into your school hall, where the prom was being held, all eyes were on you and let me tell you, your cheeks went bright red.
Everybody thought you looked lovely but you felt so out of place, you just wished Seth would hurry up and come meet you so you weren't alone. That's when the doors opened once again, you turned around to see a lovely dress that seemed to catch everyone's attention.
Only thing was, the person in the dress was Seth! Seth found you in the crowd, he lifted his head high and made his way over to you. "Wow," was all he said when he stopped in front of you. "Wows right," you said with a large grin on your face.
"Seth why are you wearing a dress?" You asked trying to keep a straight face. "Well I just figured that- if you were going to feel stupid for wearing a dress then- as your best friend I can't let you go through it alone." The grin left your face and was slowly replaced with the sweetest smile you could muster as you stared at the boy in front of you, the boy who was going to get ridiculed for the rest of his life because of this one night but he didn't care because it made you happy.
"Would you like to dance?" You asked as you offered your arm for Seth to take. "I thought you'd never ask!" Suddenly you and Seth began to swing around the dance floor, everyone getting out of your way as you laughed loudly with Seth.
"Can I just say one thing," he asked as he whispered in your ear. "You look amazing tonight," you smiled. "You always do." You pecked Seth on the cheek, turning him bright red, even though he loved it.
