Chapter 10

"Ooh! Can we get these too?" Niall asked holding up a bag of some random type of chips. We were in the grocery store and Niall seemed to want every item of food in the store.

"No! For the last time no! We can't get every type of food in the store, we already have plenty. Now let's go check out." I said finally snapping at him. The second we got into the store Niall started piling every possible type of food into the cart, most of it we didn't even need.

"Fine. But can we just get-"

"NO!" I shouted at him and started towards the cash registers.

"Hey guys, we're home!" I called into the house once Niall and I got home. No response.

"Guys?" No one answered again, I went and looked upstairs but no one was there.

"Niall, do you know where they all went?" I asked him now extremely confused, both cars were outside so they must be somewhere in the house.

"Yup." He said with a knowing smile.

"Well where are they?"

"Help me get all the groceries from the car and then get a swimsuit on, meet me down here when your ready."

I stood there and raised my eyebrow at him.

"Well go!" He insisted then went back outside to get more grocery bags. I have nothing to lose so I decided to just go along with it.

We quickly brought in all the bags and then we both headed upstairs to change. I picked out a white bikini with red polka dots and put a red tank top and denim shorts over it. I grabbed a towel too since we were obviously going swimming and met Niall back downstairs.

I walked into the living room and saw a bored looking Niall. "You ready?" I asked him.

He looked up quickly looking surprised since he didn't notice I came down yet. "Yeah, I was wondering if you were ever coming down." He teased.

"I didn't take that long, and where are we going anyway? Is there a pool in the backyard or something?"

"Well yes, but that's not what we're doing." He walked to the back of the living room and walked out the glass sliding doors. I didn't notice the doors were there before since there had been blinds covering them earlier.

I quickly followed him out and with my first step outside I was shocked, not only is there a huge pool but there's also a beach in our backyard! Grace, Zayn, Liam, Harry, and Louis looked like they were involved in some sort of volleyball game.

"You like it?" Niall said with a voluminous smile spread across his face.

"Like it? I love it! This is so cool!" I said excitedly taking in the beautiful beach before me. The water was crystal clear and the sand was white and soft on my feet. I bent over and picked up a handful of sand then let it slowly slide threw my fingers. "Is this a private beach?"

"Yup, it's just for us. The beach is one of the best things about this house."

"This is amazing! There's even palm trees!" I said pointing to the line of palm trees on one side of the beach, the trees went up to about twenty feet away from the shoreline. On the other side there was an identical line of trees, it looked like they divide up the beach from other peoples property.

Niall laughed at my over excitement towards the beach but I really was extremely excited, I had never been to a real beach before. The only beach I have ever been to is the at the lake I used to go to when I was younger.

"Do you want to go join the lads and Grace over there and play some beach volleyball?" Niall said, squinting from the sun in his eyes.

"Yeah, I'll race you!" I dropped my towel in the sand and took off towards the others. As I got closer to them the smell of sea water became more distinct and I breathed it in slowly enjoying the fresh air. I forget I was in a race as I was enjoying the smell of the beach and Niall ran right past me to the volleyball net, soon after I caught up to him.
