Chapter 16 (Part 1)

Chapter 16

"Hey, girlfriend." Harry said winking at me as I walked, more like dragged, myself into the kitchen for some breakfast.

"Absolutely not." I said giving him a warning look, there is no way he's going to start calling me that. I grabbed a doughnut from the box full of them sitting on the counter.

"But you're my girlfriend." Harry said, then took a giant bite of his own doughnut.

"Harry, please don't do this, I'm really not in the mood. Can we at least pretend this whole 'girlfriend' thing isn't happening when we are at home?" I asked him and sat down at the kitchen table. Liam was also sitting there reading something on his phone.

"I agree with that," Liam interjected. "But you guys may need to show a little PDA so it's actually believable. Of course, that is after Harry announces it to the fans."

"Oh right, I've got to do that." Harry made an unhappy face as he sat down with us at the kitchen table.

"Yes you do, and as soon as possible. Would you like to do a little twit cam or something or just send out a tweet?"

"Oh God, I don't know. A tweet I guess?" Harry said, still looking confused about whether or not it was the right choice.

"Alright then," Liam said shrugging. "Why don't you do it now?"

"Uh, okay. What should I say?" Harry asked while digging around in his pockets for his phone.

"Just say something like 'the rumors are true, I do have a girlfriend' or anything along those lines. It doesn't have to be too complicated." Liam said and continued looking at his phone.

Harry finally found his phone and just sat there staring at it, moving his thumbs around above the keys as he thought about what he was going to type. Liam looked up and saw Harry just sitting there and grabbed his phone from him.

"I'll do this for you." He said and started typing something. "Is this alright with you?" Liam asked Harry and put the phone back in front of him.

"Yeah." Harry nodded then showed me the phone.

It said: Rumors are true guys, I do have a lovely new girlfriend by the name of Ashlyn Brooks :)@ashlyn_b94 x

"Oh lord," I  said and took a deep breath. "Wait, how did you get my twitter name?"

"Oh, Grace gave it to me." Liam said.

I cursed Grace under my breath, of course she would do that!

"You ready for me to send it?" Harry asked, he looked a bit nervous himself. He's probably worried about how the fans will react.

I nodded, and Harry pressed send. I took a deep breath and started mentally preparing myself for all the hate I'm going to get from all of the fans. The last thing I need is for things to get more complicated then they already are, and this is only the beginning.

"Hey Ash?" Liam said looking at me.

"Yeah?" I looked up at him, feeling a little nervous under his powerful gaze.

"Don't let any of the hateful messages get to you, it's not worth it. The only reason anyone would hate is because they're jealous. And you know Harry and I will always be here for you if you need anything."

I gave him a warm smile, he already made me feel better. "Thanks, Liam."

"And me too!" Louis said as he walked into the kitchen, agreeing with Liam's little speech.

"Aw thanks guys!"

"Group hug!" Louis shouted, running over and wrapping his arms around me.

"Oh please no, I hate group hugs." I complained as I tried to break free of his grasp. Liam and Harry came over and joined in the hug.

"This is nice." Harry said, making me laugh as they all stood there with their arms awkwardly around each other and me. It wasn't very comfortable considering I was still in my seat.

Niall walked into the kitchen, looking for food I'm assuming, raised and eyebrow at us and walked out. Only to return a moment later to steal a bag of chips off the counter.

We all burst out laughing and the boys finally let go of me.

GGGRRRRR!!!!!! I am very frusterated with this chapter, it's not really a chapter actually I don't even think it's a page. I have major writers block right now and have no idea how to continue this right now! So for now this is only part 1 of chapter 16, i'll try to finish it this weekend. sorry guys :/ thank you for reading though, love all the support! :D Xx
