Chapter One

" Hey, honey," I say as Josh walks into the kitchen. I turn around from the frying pan and peck his lips with a 'mwa'.

" Morning," he itches his head and sits at the table. I turn back to the frying pan as the smoke alarm goes off.

" Shoot," I say, flipping the bacon over, " can you watch this?"

He gets up, " sure." He walks along and takes the spatula and the handle from me. I nod, and open the cooker up.

The savoury scones aren't too badly burnt, so I take them out and put them on top of the counter. The smoke alarm ceases.

" Okay?" Josh asks.

" Yeah," I sigh, taking over again. He goes back to his phone.

A few moments later, the bacon is ready, and I flip it out onto two plates, and make some eggs. I put those on the plates as well, followed by the savoury scones.

I put a plate down in front of him, and sit down on the opposite side of him with mine. He rubs his hands together. " Yummy."

I laugh. " It better be," I say.

Josh and I have been dating for six months now, and we're almost finished filming Mockingjay Part One. Everything is going great; I've moved in with him, and we even got our own dog, called Flynn. We've been talking about marriage recently, but only casually.

I'd love to marry Josh, of course. But if he's not ready I'll respect that. I won't force him.

Since we announced our relationship on Ellen, the mobs and paparazzi have been extra crazy. We barely leave our home any more. I've had to learn to cook so as we don't have to eat takeout twenty-four-seven. But it's okay, we get by.

Once we've eaten, we get up and I suggest going out for lunch later. " Hey, what about trying to go out for lunch?"

" Actually, I have to go out," says Josh.

" Where?" I ask suspiciously.

" No where, I just have to go," he answers, then kisses my cheek before leaving.

I shrug, heading upstairs to get changed. But, the more I think of it, the more upset I get. I end up in my bed, sobbing loudly.

What is he up to? He couldn't be cheating on me, could he? Where is he going if he's not cheating on me?

Josh is up to something. . . And I think I'm going to find out what.
