Chapter Thirteen
" What?" Josh whispers.
I start to cry because the emotions are so overwhelming. I manage to speak through the tears, " I'm pregnant. But if you don't want anything to do with it that's fine. I'll move back in with my parents and I'll give up acting, I'll get a proper job, I'll-"
" Jen, stop it!" Josh hisses. " Of course I want to be with you."
" What?" I ask because I'm so confused.
" I want to be there. I want to be there for the first scan, the first word, the first step, the first day of school. I want to be there. I'm not going anywhere."
" B-but, you said you didn't want kids," I stutter.
" I do. I mean, I wasn't planning to have them so early, but if you had just told me you where pregnant then I wouldn't have said anything. If the woman I love is pregnant, I'm going to be right by her side the whole time," he tells me.
" Josh," I sniffle. We both get up and I hug him and kiss him lightly.
" I love you," I whisper.
" I love you too, always and forever, no matter what," is his reply.
