Chapter Fifteen

" Hi, Lily," I laugh, giving my best friend a hug. I haven't seen in her in months, and I can't even give her a proper hug, since I'm now seven months pregnant. It feels so weird, like I have a ball shoved up my shirt, but even stiffer. I can't even believe that I'll be in labour in a couple months time! It's just really weird to think about! But I can't wait, because I know what I get at the end of it all.

" Jen! I'm so happy to see you!" She cries excitedly. " I've missed you so much! And look how fat you are! You look like an elephant!"

" Shut up, you!" I laugh and hug her again, then my hands fly straight back to my bump. I'm very over protective of it. " Come on, let's go inside. Josh is out, so we have the place all to ourselves." I let her in and close the door. We sit in the family room.

" So, how have you been?" She asks.

" Great!" I grin. " How about you?"

" Uh, well I was actually waiting to tell you," she says quietly, which makes me worried, " I'm getting married!" She yells. I squeal and so does she, and I hug her once again.

" I can't believe it!" I say. How could this day even get any better?"

Later at night, Lily has gone down to England to visit her parents and I'm waiting on Josh. I decide to run myself a warm bath, because it's really cold here. I start to run the water and hear the door open. I run downstairs and open the door. Josh stands with a bunch of flowers, smiling at me. I pull him in and kiss his cheek, then the take the flowers from him. " Thanks, babe," I say, giving him a smile.

" You're welcome," he replies and walks inside.

" Care to join me for a bath?" I ask seductively.

" I'd rather join you in the bedroom," he grins wickedly and drags me upstairs.

Two hours later we lie panting in bed as Josh strokes my sweaty hair. " So that was fine for the baby?" He asks, glancing at my bump.

" Yeah," I nod. " I actually read that sex calms babies. When they're in the womb of course." I laugh and so does Josh. I rest my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me.

" Night," he whispers.

" Goodnight," I say back.
