'Oh my gosh! Good Luck! Yoon Naeyeon, Hwaiting!!'
raising her right fist in the air, Kate shook it slightly and smiled. Returning her smile, I thanked her.
'Thanks, Kate. Hey, I don't have any way of getting there... would you mind if yo--' Kate cut me off and read my mind.
'I would love to drive you! It would be my pleasure.' Smiling even wider than before, I bombarded her with hugs.
'Thankyou~!'
'when is it again?' She began to scratch her scalp as she thought.
'Two days from now, 11 o'clock at Pledis Entertainment.'
'let's get some lunch tomorrow then?
'That sounds good.'
'okay, cool. I still can't believe you're auditioning to be a trainee.'
'I know. I'm so nervous.'
To be honest, I couldn't believe I was doing this either. In two days, I'll audition to become an Idol trainee for Pledis Entertainment. The very thought gave me goosebumps. I'd dreamt about becoming an Idol since I was a little girl and if all goes to plan, I will be one step closer to achieving my dream goal. Well, at least one of the two. My other dream was to fall in love and settle down but since I graduated from school a year ago and had my heart broken into millions of pieces, I gave up on that dream wholly. I'd taken to the realisation that I can't always have what I want when it comes to the real world.
'It's Okay, Naeyeon. I'll be with you the whole time until you get up on that stage.'
'Thanks. I can always count on you.' Looking at the time, I almost screamed. I need to be up early so that I can make sure I'm ready! 'Hey, it's getting really late. I'm gonna go to bed.'
'Ok! sleep well!' Kate yelled to me as I bolted upstairs to make sure I have everything before going to sleep.

'Thanks for taking me out, Kate. I need it to calm down my nerves.'
'It's no problem.' Kate declared. 'Hop in.' Opening the passenger side door and getting inside the SUV, I detect the smell of vanilla seeping out of the air freshener hung up on the rear-view mirror. 'Okay, so, off to the mall!'
She pulled out of the driveway and just as she got out, a sports car came speeding round the corner and hit the driver-side door. We were sent flying into a tree near us and when we'd stopped moving and I could see straight, I'd wished I hadn't seen what was in front of me.
Kate's still body lay crushed and pinned down under the heavy metal of her car. There was blood flowing quickly from her shoulder as she had a piece of metal through it. My mind raced. What do I do!?!? I tried to reach into my bag to pull out my phone and call an ambulance but it had fallen onto the floor and a piece of metal hung down across my chest pinning me to my seat. Hearing footsteps approach our car, I scream out for help.
'HELP!! HELP!! PLEASE HELP US!!' I screamed at the top of my lungs and as I looked over to my best friend, tears ran like rivers from my eyes. I was hoping to the gods that by some miracle, Kate wasn't dead, but passed out. '....please *sobs*... please help us! p-please, please *cough* help...' everything began to blur and I heard a man's voice.
'Oh my fucking god! Seungcheol, help me out here! There are people in here! Here! Help me move this...'
'Jesus! Okay! Ready Hosh? 3, 2, 1!'
The metal that was holding me in had lifted a little but before I could stand, I'd passed out.
