'Get in the bed. I'll sleep here on the floor.' He gestured towards the double bed to his left and I sat on it.

'Jun, I can't let you sleep on the floor.' I paused for a moment, giving my next comment some thought. I patted the bed. 'C'mere. You can sleep in the bed with me.' He opened his mouth to speak, but I cut him off. 'It is a double bed. Plus, it's not anything new. We did fall asleep together today.'

He sighed in defeat. 'Okay. If that's what makes you happy.' He smiled and walked around to the other side of the bed and he slipped his shirt over his head. 'I'm sorry if this is awkward but I can't sleep with a shirt on for very long.' In the darkness, my face lit up slightly.

'No, it's fine.' I slipped in under the covers and Jun slid in too. Not facing each other, Jun and I laid in awkwardness, in a state of sleeplessness and neither of us could help it. Although I couldn't see him, I felt his body turn over to face me and I sensed his gaze warm my back. The rain still peltered down. A furious lightning bolt screamed towards our house and thumped on our roof, sending terror squirming down my spine. I covered my mouth to stop a scream from reaching the open air and I moved towards Jun, burying myself into his chest, into a familiar position as his arms wrapped around me.

'Naeyeon...' He paused and rose his hand up to stroke my soft, short hair. 'Are you okay?'

BANG

I moved so close that there was now absolutely no space between us.

'Jun...' I whispered.

'Mm?' he hummed down at me and I glanced at his calm face. He calmed me down slightly.

'Could you...' Silence floated through the room for a few seconds before I continued. 'P-Protect me? I know I'm not in any d-danger bu--' A quiet "Shh~" Reached me and Jun moved me so that my face lined up with his, where I saw his face smile sweetly at me, his grip carefully tightening around my waist.

Above the bed sat a window with the blinds open, filtering in the pale blue moonlight that carefully caressed our faces. The stars shine their light towards us as if to film us; to frame us in this moment and save it in our memories. The rain still pelted and the thunder and lightning still stalked me down, but they were all unable to find me, hidden in Jun's protective embrace.

'God...' His hand moved to my cheek and stroked back and fourth along it but our gaze never broke. 'You are so beautiful, Naeyeon.' His other hand traced lines on my stomach, tying it in knots from the outside. 'Sometimes, you make me want to kiss you so much...' Without thinking, I answered him.

'Then, do it.'

'But I--'

'Kiss me, you idiot!' I whisper-yelled at him and his lips met mine ferociously, lustfully. The hand that rested on my stomach just moments ago, now entwined with my own and he had pulled me on top of him, my knees either side of him. Soon, his lips pulled away from mine and I immediately missed the feeling of him but lack of sleep overcame us and, lying down on top of him, we both drifted off into dreams, our fingers still entwined and never wanting to lose each other.

'Hah! I knew it. They are dating.'

'I knew they were going to get together. Hoshi told me he saw something between them. It was going to happen sometime.'

. . .

'I'm going to kill Soonyoung.'
