New Year's Eve. Wow it's already here! I sat down and thought about everything that happened this year. If Kevin hadn't moved here, I would've never met the most important people to me and I would've lost Maggie and been all alone... I snapped out of my thoughts and went to the kitchen to see my mom preparing everything. She asked me to help her make the salad and i did. I was still making salad when Kevin walked in "hi Mrs. Brown" he said hugging her "hi Kevin" she said and smiled "hi kevinnnnn" I said "hey"... he said pretending to hug me but instead he hugged the salad bowl. I laughed and said "you're such an idiot" and he also laughed "I may be an idiot but I'm your idiot so we good. Are our plans still on for tonight?" He asked and turned his attention to my mom "yuppo I can come after 8" I said "then I'll come pick you up" he said and winked. I finished my salad and went to sit down. I put a movie and he held me around my waist while I laid my head on his shoulder. I put the movie and we sat like that for a while until my mom called me "ughhh okay" I said and walked up to her. I helped her set the dishes and the centerpiece of the table which was a small bouquet of cute red flowers and a few little candles. I then places the forks, knives, and spoons then checked the clock 7:30. Okay I need to go get ready. "Kevin I'm gonna go get ready" I said and he stood up "me too" he said and walked out. I went upstairs and wore a black and gold dress that had a low v neck and had no sleeves.

I put some gold eyeshadow on and winged my eyeliner. I put some highlighter on my cheeks and on my Cupid's bow. I finished off my makeup with some red nude lipstick and put my false lashes on. I curled my hair and left it down. I looked in the mirror and I looked pretty good. I went back downstairs and checked the time. 8:13. Okay kevs later than me that literally never happens. I laughed and sat down. I waited patiently and wore my jacket and grabbed my purse when Kevin called "hello?" I asked "come down I'm here" he said and I got out and saw Kevin in a car. "Kev you don't have a license what are you doing I don't want to die on New Year's Eve" I said and he laughed out loud and pulled out a license "surprise" he said and I laughed "congrats babe" I said and kissed his cheek "thank you." He said and looked at my dress "you look so gorgeous" he said and winked as I smiled. "Thanks" we started driving and went to the beach pier and there was a whole carnival there and it was so beautiful.

"Surprise number two" he said and I smiled "oh my god this is so beautiful!" I said and he nodded. We went in the carnival and there was a lot of people. We went and he held my hand as we walked through the carnival. We rode many rides and everything hyped me up and I was super happy. 11:45. "ITS ALMOST MIDNIGHT" I told Kevin and he laughed. "I know doll, lets go" he said pulling my hand towards the ferries wheel and we stood in the line we got on the ride. 11:50. "Ten more minutes" Kevin said ans we started slowly spinning around. We reached the top. 11:59. "Time for surprise number three" he said and I laughed "okay" I said "close your eyes" he said and I did. Moments later I felt his lips connect to mine. I kissed back and it lasted long. Many people say 'I felt a spark' but this wasn't just a spark it was a whole firework show and I enjoyed every moment. My knees felt weak and we both pulled away even though I know that I never wanted it to stop. This guy was the most amazing thing that ever happened to me and I know that he's the one, no matter where our life takes us.
