Focus Kali. Your here for a reason. Yes, exactly the reason your supposed to be talking about right now.
"I got your message," I told Jax, " there were a few things I had to sort out first so it took me longer that usual. When I got to Crimson they still had him in the dungeon, so I waited for them to bring Isaac up to the throne room. I could have just taken him from the dungeon but that would have been very messy for the rest of you. They would have blamed you for taking him and they would have the right to come after all of you."
The vampires could have killed them all if they had been the one to brake him out. Isaac was on trial. There is very little ways to get someone taken off trial and the way I took him off wasn't exactly official.
Everyone was watching me, waiting for me to continue. With a sigh I told them the rest.
"I got him out before the King made an appearance. They were waiting for him but your friend there tried to speed up the process. Aggravating Ryan," A smirk found its way into my face as I looked at Isaac, "you were real smooth about it too. I stepped in before anything got violent. I grabbed him and pouf, we landed here." I wave my hand around me to indicate where we were and gave them an innocent smile.
Damn I really must look innocent if they're as shocked as the look. I had to bite my lip to keep me from laughing.
"So they let you just leave? With him? The person they were just about to put on trial?" Jessie looked at me as if I was and absolute idiot.
"Uh huh." When they continued looking at me and waiting for a better explanation I looked to Jax. That idiot just shrugged at me as if to say tell them or don't I really don't care an I can't do anything cause I'm and absolute idiot and can't do anything helpful right now. Well maybe he didn't look at me like all of that but still. A little help would be nice.
Sighing I looked back at everyone else in the room. I guess I could give a little truth. "Yes, they let me leave with him. They couldn't stop me. I have somewhat of an alliance with the King of Vampires."
The looks I get just seem to be getting worse. Jax gave out a little chuckle before shutting his mouth when I gave him a glare. That's right I still got the evil eyes.
"The Vampires don't alloy themselves with anyone, they're only loyal to themselves. So why would the King alloy with you?" Xavier's voice was deep and husky yet hard as stone. There was no emotion there. He could intimidate anyone, probably kill anyone with that voice. Anyone except me.
Thought he could intimidate me? Oh he had no fucking clue who he's talking to.
"Because I'm not someone you want to piss off."
Ooh I loved the little bit of shock that ran through his eyes. He didn't think I could be just as emotionless as him. I could read him even though he wore his mask, made himself emotionless. I'm used to masks. I wear one myself.
"So how did you find us? I mean it's not easy to find this place how did you do it so quickly," Jessie's voice was still curious, her eyes still slightly hard as if she didn't trust me.
I nodded my head in the direction of Jax, "I have a direct link to him. A bond. I can find him anywhere. And if I didn't have a bond with Jax, I could have followed the bond between you" I looked over at Isaac and Anna wrapped in each others embrace.
I looked around at everyone in the room, "Is that enough questions for now?"
When no one said anything I looked back to Jackson, "Good. So what the fuck is really going on?"
