The Dead Men and Tanith have all gathered at Gordon's Manson, now part of Valkyrie, to celebrate a new year. Skulduggery, Gastly, Erskine and Anton watched amused as Dexter and Saracen made themselves a monkey. The two dead men danced In front of the TV a waltz. It was only 10 seconds to midnight. They all got together and counted down. When they were at 1, Dexter and Anton lit the fireworks rockets. They exploded and made a beautiful colorful color game. Everyone smiled and hoped that the next year will have more luck. Also to the world rendezvous. Gastly turned to Tanith and whispered to her, "I love you." She opened her eyes and returned with a kiss, "I love you too."
