16. Fifty Shades Of Grey

"So, what movie shall we watch?" Ruby asked and opened Nexflix. It was Friday afternoon, and Ruby was sitting on the couch with Emma and Killian at Emma's place. When the couple had had lunch at Granny's, she had needed an excuse for leaving the diner since Granny was driving her crazy thay day - and that's why she had invited herself at Emma's house. Luckily, the blonde woman had agreed.  

"You're inviting yourself to our house, and then you also wanna watch a movie?" Emma chuckled as Ruby tried to make a puppy face. 

"You'll get free lunch for one week if I can choose the movie." Ruby lured with a cheeky smile. And apparently it worked, at least for Killian. 

"Okay, deal." the pirate quickly agreed with a smile. He had become addicted to the delicious food at Granny's - and not just because of the rum he always bought there. 

Emma slapped her boyfriend and tried to look angry at him. "Killian! You just gave Ruby all the liberty of our TV!" 

"Well, she surely will choose a good and educational movie, won't she?" Killian perked his eyebrows up as Ruby gave him a are-you-serious-look. 

"There is one movie I wasn't able to watch - since it's Granny's Netflix account I have, so she can see which movies I watch." Ruby started to type in the title of the movie in the search box. 

Emma opened wide her eyes as she realised which movie Ruby was searching for. "Ruby, no! No way, not that movie!!" 

Killian looked at his girlfriend in a puzzled way. "What's wrong with that movie?"

Emma covered her eyes with one hand, and with the other she pointed to the TV. Killian looked at the screen. The title of the movie was Fifty Shades of Grey - and then, slowly, he started to realize which genre the movie belonged to. The cover was showing a man who was very close to a woman whose arms were above her head, like she was being tied to something. His hands were gently laying on her cheeks, and both of them had their eyes almost closed. Yes, this definitely partaked of something erotically. 

"Come on Emma. Please don't tell me you haven't seen that movie yet!" Ruby exclaimed, seeming to be shocked. 

Emma looked up, lifting her left eyebrow. "No, sorry that I haven't watched that soft-porn movie yet. And I also haven't planned to watch it today, so please could you be so nice and choose another movie?" 

Ruby looked at Emma for a moment, and then looked back to the TV. Then she broke the silence. "Nope." she said apoligisingly, popping the 'p'. 

Emma rolled her eyes as Ruby stood up and went to the citchen. A few minutes later, she came back with a huge bag of chips. "Whoa, Emma. Where did you get this bag from?" The young woman let herself plunk into the sofa next to the couple. "Let's enjoy the movie." 

During the on-screen billing, the only thing they heard were the music of the movie and the sound of Ruby eating the chips. But then, after a few minutes, Killian wrapped his arm around Emma's waist and pulled him closer to her. "Come on, I don't think the movie will be that....you know what I mean." Killian whispered into Emma's ear. The woman just snorted and rested her head on his chest, praying that Killian would be right.  

By no later than the half of the movie, everyone in the room knew the movie wasn't as benign as they thought - at least Emma and Killian had thought that. Ruby was sitting on the sofa, eating her chips at ease.

Emma had brought another bag of chips from the kitchen and was sharing it with Killian since Ruby was claiming the other one only for herself. But now that the scenes on TV weren't only kissing in the elevator, she was eating and eating, trying to distract herself from the fact that right in front of her, people were moaning erotically. And the fact that her boyfriend was sitting right next to her, watching exactly the same things, made her blush deeply.
