"Swan, I don't think that's a good idea." Killian said worriedly as they entered the hall. Ice cold air confronted him and he could hear some slithering sounds in the distance.

"Oh come on Mr. Sceptical, let's have a little bit of fun." Emma chuckled and interlaced her fingers with his ones.

It was Sunday, and that meant family time in Storybrooke. Often, the Charmings, baby Neal, Henry, Killian and Emma just stayed at home and watched a movie, but whatever they did, they did it together. Since it was winter, there weren't many possibilities where they wouldn't freeze to death. But that morning, the Charmings had entered Emma's house with a big grin. They had a great idea what they could do that Sunday afternoon.

"We should go ice skating! A new ice rink opened last week here in Storybrooke, and we should definitely try it out." David had said, smiling widely. Mary Margaret had just nodded, smiling as well. "And? What do you think?"

Of course, Henry immediately was on fire. A fifteen-year old boy loved ice skating, even if it was with his grandparents and his mother. Emma also agreed, the last time she had been ice skating was many years ago.

But the only one who quickly shook his head was Killian - after they had explained him what ice skating was. "You guys have fun at ice skating today, but I won't do it. I wouldn't go there for all the tea in...what was it? Asia?"

Emma chuckled. "It was China. And come on, test it. I can assure you, it's a lot of fun." She grabbed both of his hands and stood right in front of him so that she was looking directly into his eyes. "And you know, if you don't go, I won't go neither."

Killian sighed. "Swan, you know I would do anything for you. And I can come with you if you want me to...but I won't skate! I'm not that kind of person that likes dancing on the ice."

"It's not dancing, it's more...I don't know how to explain it." Emma interrupted him.

"To be honest, I'd love to see our pirate ice dancing." David countered, teasing the pirate. By that time he had finally accepted Killian as member of the family - and also as his daughter's girlfriend - but he couldn't stop teasing him as often as possible.

Killian lifted his eyebrow. "Believe me Dave, that feeling is mutual."

Emma just rolled her eyes, squeezing Killian's hands which she was still holding, making him look at her. "Oh please Killian, you have to give it a try!"

Killian looked directly into her eyes, and he couldn't resist the begging in them. And as Emma also started to smile sweetly, whispering a "Please Killian.", he just couldn't resist anymore and finally agreed.

"Yey! Thank you!" Emma exclaimed and wrapped her arms arouns his neck. The smile that appeared on Emma's face was so beautiful that he didn't regret his decision. And then, Emma locked her lips with his.

"Hmm." Killian hummed appreciatively, closing his eyes. For a moment, they forgot everything around them, totally giving into the kiss. But then, someone cleared his throad loudly, interrupting their kiss.

"When shall we set off?" David asked, a grim expression on his face. Mary Margaret shook her head and gave her husband a dig with the ellbow while Emma turned around, lifting both of her eyebrows in a are-you-serious-way.

That's why the Charming family and Killian were now entrancing the ice hall, everyone excited except for the pirate who was more sceptically than happy. But he had promised it to his girlfriend, and he couldn't back down now.

They went to the counter and lend a pair of ice skates for everyone. The Charmings and Henry had finished quickly and were already on their way down the stairs to the ice rink while Killian was still fiddling around with his shoes. He was wearing his fake hand since he didn't want to accidentally kill someone if he fell down. But it was quiet difficult to put on some skates with one hand, especially when you don't really know how they work.
